Out of the depths have I cried unto Thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice: let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His Word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. (Psalms 130:1-6)
While we wait on the Lord, we study His Word to know more about Him, and we are not asleep but watch for His return, and opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those that are without. We are to be about our Father's business, and He has commanded us to disciple one another with His Word, and reach the lost.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, willingly and in humble obedience to the Father, took on flesh and gave Himself for the sin of the whole world. If you will believe His Word, and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary in your place, He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. You can fear His judgment, or worship and reverence Him who gave you Salvation and forgiveness.
In Christ,
