If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in His holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in Heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth. Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright. (Psalms 11:3-7)
But, GOD knows who are His, and no matter how bad this world gets, remember He is not aiming at us. He sends trials to correct His own, or judge the wicked. He allows events to take place in this broken and sinful world, because we (in Adam) demanded it. He cares for His children, even in the midst of calamity and disaster. He calls us to love and to serve even during our trials, and during whatever trouble may come to both the just and the unjust.
GOD can and does use the terrible things of this dying world to bring lost people to a saving knowledge of Him. We must tell those around us of His love. He is not willing that any should perish, but wants all people everywhere to repent, turn away from their sIn, and turn to our righteous and Holy GOD for the Salvation that He has already paid for on the Cross of Calvary.
Those that don't know Him, that don't yet have a relationship with Jesus Christ by Faith in His finished work, are under His condemnation. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He declares that you must be born again and offers a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. While He demands righteousness and holiness and compels all who will hear to believe and receive Him, it is your choice. Accept His grace and mercy, and His payment in your place and for your sIn, today.
In Christ,
