Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me. And ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of GOD in you. I am come in My Father's Name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from GOD only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My Words? (Joh 5:39-47)
The Word of GOD written and spoken by men led by the Spirit of GOD reveals the Word of GOD made flesh. From Creation when GOD spoke the worlds into being and formed man of the dust of the ground by His Word, to the giving of the Law to Israel, first by sermon and then by the finger of GOD, to the continued interaction with GOD and His people and the prophets who spoke of the One who was to come, the Scriptures speak of our Saviour. Sent from the Father, and willingly going to the Cross for us, Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, put on flesh and became man, in the form of a servant, just as had been foretold, took our place and paid our sIn debt that GOD's justice required, and is now risen, glorified, and sitting at the right hand of the Throne of GOD.
The Father honoured the Son while He walked on this earth, because He was Holy and obedient to His will, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased"; and further honoured Him in His victory over death and the grave, for He was without sIn, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of GOD the Father. He is our Lord and King, and He is coming back to this earth to rule and reign just as the Scriptures have said, until all things are complete and all Scripture is fulfilled.
Until that day, His born-again people, His saints and ambassadors in, but not of, this sinful and broken world, are on mission to minister to those around us who are hurting that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We are mandated by our Lord to love one another, as He loved us, that all may know we are His disciples. We are to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as we see Him in its pages. We are to go with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, from the ever living Word of GOD, and proclaim His Good News of reconciliation and forgiveness to those who believe and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, that those who trust Him might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
