Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honourable and glorious: and His righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
He sent redemption unto His people: He hath commanded His covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is His Name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endureth for ever. (Psalms 111:1-4, 9-10)
He is worthy of all our praise. All glory and honor belongs to our GOD for all His work; in creation, in preservation, in providence, and in redemption. Jesus Christ spoke the universe and all that is in it into being, He has held it in the power of His hand, and He gave Himself to rescue us from our sIn, and intercedes for us to meet our needs and accomplish His will and work of Grace and Mercy toward us.
The righteous Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, became a man and went humbly and willingly to the Cross of Calvary that in His death, burial and resurrection we might have life. That is the message of Hope, Peace, and Love we have to tell to the nations, not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.
Because of Jesus Christ; His incarnation as a man, His perfect and sinless life in obedience to the Father, and His sacrifice in our place; we can have the Hope of eternal life in Him, we can have Peace with the Father and forgiveness of our sIn, and we know the Love of GOD shed abroad in our hearts by the GOD who is Love.
But, GOD is a GOD of justice too. He must punish sIn, and since He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth, He took our place on that cruel Roman cross. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word, and receive Him by faith so that you will be born again, surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is real and personal.
You can fear His judgement because of your sIn and give reverence to His Holy Name and receive His free offer of Redemption, or you can go your own way and reject the Salvation He has already paid for. The choice is yours.
