And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:11-16)
Speaking of our relationships, GOD warns those of us who are His of entangling ourselves with that which is not of Him, and even tells us to speak up and speak out against it, so that they might be exposed for what they truly are. We, the Church of GOD, who are supposed to be a Holy people are to be awake and sober; that is on guard and aware of these things, especially in the church. Like a good and ready sentry we watch for the enemy at the gate, and await the return of our commander. Ever vigilant for the attacks to come, and anticipating His return that we might be relieved and rewarded. We use the Bible as our Basic Instructions before leaving Earth to learn of our Lord Jesus Christ, and then we do what He tells us in His Word.
Are you one of His? Be on guard, and learn of Him. Are you a faithful servant? Live as He would have you to do. Are you a ready soldier? Gird yourselves and stand ready for the battle.
Are you outside the body wondering what all this is about, but wanting more? Receive Him that you may be Saved from your sins and your joy may be full. Is all this making no sense, and you are thinking we are a little nuts? Jesus said that until you are born again you cannot see [understand] the Kingdom of GOD. Surrender to Him on His terms today and He can make you a new creature in Christ with a brand new life in Him, now and always.
GOD is not willing that any should perish, and He tells us to always be ready to give an answer of the Hope that is within us. Share Him with those you meet in love and grace.
