Now if Christ be preached that He rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of GOD; because we have testified of GOD that He raised up Christ: whom He raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. (1Co 15:12-19)
Not only does the resurrection of Jesus Christ show the Father's acceptance of the sacrifice He made on that cruel Roman cross in our place and to pay our sin debt, but because Jesus Christ has conquered sIn and the grave, we who are in Christ will live eternally after this body is gone. Because Jesus was quickened by the Spirit, we too shall live because of our repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.
He is alive, the grave has been conquered and is no longer a place of dread. Sin has been defeated, and its penalty paid for. However, that is not so for the one who has not trusted in Jesus Christ and received Him by faith, for the lost person is still dead in his trespasses and sins, and under the condemnation that all received in Adam. Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who willingly and humbly gave Himself that we might be saved, is our only Hope, He is the Way, The Truth, and Life.
Because our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness and because we are His and now live and work in and through Him who is within us, we are responsible and commanded to go and tell others of the hope that is in us. We are to minister as His ambassadors to those who are hurting, meeting their physical and spiritual needs as GOD guides and provides. We are to disciple one another in His Word that we may grow, fellowship together and considering one another to provoke unto love and to good works. We are to love one another as Christ loves us that all may know that we are His disciples. As we go, we are to teach all nations The Gospel and all that He has commanded and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ that those who hear, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD, may believe and have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
