Carry on, Soldier

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.
(1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

The command to all who are waiting for our Lord's return is to watch.  Standing fast as good sentries awaiting the Commander to return as well as the enemy to attack and knowing the difference.  Grow up and act like the man you are supposed to be.  Realizing your strength comes from GOD, rest in Him but be as the song says, "Strong on your knees" and in His Word.  And lastly do all with the Love of GOD which is carried out in sacrificial action toward others; especially to those that don't return it, or understand it.

A short sermon of encouragement from the Word for Christians as they carry on the Work of GOD in His Church. 

For those that are without and are wondering how to do all that, or just thinking that those of us in the church are a little crazy for doing what we do; let me share this: without the Spirit of GOD to empower you, you can't do it.  It is only by surrendering to GOD on His terms and repenting of the sIn that separates you from GOD that you can be born again and begin the journey that this passage is all about.

GOD calls you to respond to His Word and His Will through the power of the Holy Spirit to receive Jesus Christ and His free gift of Salvation through the blood He shed on the cross of Calvary.

Believe Him today and be saved, and if you already are; be encouraged by this message and CARRY ON!
