In the visions of GOD brought He me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And He brought me thither, and, behold, there was a Man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in His hand, and a measuring reed; and He stood in the gate. And the Man said unto me, son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. (Ezekiel 40:2-4)
The Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, Jesus Christ comes to Ezekiel in a vision to show him the things which He will do, so Ezekiel can remember and tell it forth to His people. His vision from GOD will not only record the measurements of the old temple which the Babylonians destroyed, so the Jews can rebuild when they are restored to Jerusalem, it also contains information about the new glorious temple for the last days. While that final temple has yet to be built, rest assured that it will be just as the Jews rebuilt the temple after the captivity. GOD's prophecies come to pass. He cannot lie, and knows all things. That which He chooses to tell us will occur just as He says.
He reveals His Word to us so we can know more about Him, and be restored to a right relationship with Him by faith in His finished work on the Cross of Calvary. All Scripture speaks of Jesus Christ; as Creator, Redeemer, and Judge. We see throughout the Scripture that He is Lord of all the Universe because He created it. He is King over His subjects because He has paid our sIn debt. He is righteous and just to condemn those that reject Him as the only true GOD, with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
We in the Church, the bride of Christ are to go and tell of our Saviour and His love and mercy to those that are without. Just as Ezekiel had to share the vision to the Jews, we are to share what we have seen and heard from GOD through His Word to all peoples, nations, and tongues. GOD is not willing that any should perish, and commands us to tell them the Truth from His Word that they might know Jesus and be saved.
If you don't yet know Jesus Christ, having never surrendered to Him on His terms, GOD calls you to repent. Believe Jesus Christ and receive Him for eternal life. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He desires to forgive your sIn and give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Trust His Word and be born again today.
