Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I AM He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things. And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him. As He spake these words, many believed on Him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.(Joh 8:28-32)
Faith in Jesus Christ and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, and in the Words of Life and Truth written in the Scriptures of GOD, with repentance of our sins brings us eternal life, liberty in Christ, and a right relationship with GOD the Father, the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and reconciliation through the Spirit of GOD. Continual hearing its words, reading of its pages, studying its precepts, memorizing its passages, and meditating on the message in His Word will keep us close to Him who is our life, our liberty, and our freedom.
We are free, not to sIn or from the consequences of our actions, but from the penalty of sIn, and with the indwelling Spirit we are free from the power of sIn to rule over us, until we are ushered into His presence free from the presence of sIn. The Word will keep us from sIn, and sIn, if we let it reign over us instead of Christ, will keep us from His Word. Every temptation may come, but GOD will make a way to escape, and His Word in our hearts to conquer sIn in our lives. We are to continue in it that we may experience the victory that Christ has already paid for.
Only those who are born again and secure in Him through repentance and faith can hear from its pages, for the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit, neither can he know them for they are spiritually discerned. The Spirit of GOD guides us into all Truth, seen through the lenses of GOD's Word, and applied as we live in and through Him, free to do His will and work in this sinful and broken world.
As free citizens of the Heavenly Kingdom, we are called to serve Him as His ambassadors, ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need. As free members of His family we are commanded to love one another, even as Christ loved us, and gave Himself for us, and to grow in Him through His Word. As free ministers of reconciliation we are commissioned to take the Gospel and the Word of GOD to all those who will hear and proclaim liberty to those captive to sIn, that those who repent and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ may have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
