Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand. His brethren therefore said unto Him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that Thy disciples also may see the works that Thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If Thou do these things, shew Thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in Him. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for My time is not yet full come. (Joh 7:2-8)
Because the Jews sought to kill the Lord Jesus and it was not yet His time, and because His brothers did not yet believe in Him, though at least two did later, Jesus did not go openly and in their company to this particular feast, but went separate from His brothers later. He followed the will of His Father, not the purposes of man, even His earthly brethren and disciples, for their desires were for themselves out of unbelief.
When the time was right, and Jesus had done all His Father had sent Him to do, He went willingly and humbly to the Cross in obedience to His Father and took our place and paid our sIn debt. He put to death the flesh as the perfect sacrifice for sIn according to the Scriptures and was buried for three days and three nights and resurrected unto glory according to the Scriptures. All this He did for us that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
Those who have received His grace through faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, are born again, not to sIn, but to life and liberty in Christ. We are called to serve, as His ambassadors, to minister of those around us who are hurting and in need as GOD provides. We are commanded to love one another even as Christ loved us, and disciple one another in the Word that we may grow thereby, if so ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. We are commissioned to take the Gospel from the Word of GOD to this lost and dying world that those who hear, repent, and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
