Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion. (Psalms 134:1-3)
As we draw our journey through the Writings and the Prophets of the Old Testament to a close, it is appropriate that we end here. All of us who know the Lord, who have a saving relationship with Him by faith in His finished work on the Cross of Calvary, are to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. We are to praise our Creator, our Redeemer, and our King. We sing His praises, we raise up holy hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord.
There is also a coming day when all peoples will bless the Lord as He stands in His Holy Temple on this earth, and He will bless the people from Zion, that is Jerusalem, the city of the Great King. It will follow that series of events, from the rapture of GOD's Church, to the judgment of this earth and all those that continue to rebel against our righteous and holy GOD, to the final battle and coronation of Jesus Christ leading into His millennial Kingdom.
Until that day, we as His children are commanded to share the message of hope and mercy to this lost and dying world. We are instructed to disciple one another that we might grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are commissioned to be His servants to those around us that need Him and His love.
For GOD does not want anyone to perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word and receive Him for forgiveness of your sin and Salvation by surrendering to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Let Him bless you because of His finished and perfect work of grace, and you will have something to bless Him for all eternity.
