For when GOD made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein GOD, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for GOD to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; (Heb 6:13-19)
Just as Abraham believed GOD, and it was accounted to him for righteousness, so we trust Him for our Salavation, and He will not fail us. His Word will not pass, and it cannot fail, so we can rely on its precepts for life, liberty, and virtue.
We who are in Christ, study His Word to disciple one another, and share His message of forgiveness with those that need to hear from GOD. We are commanded to tell the nations, and we must begin at our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our schools, and everywhere we go. As we go, we are to tell all who will hear of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word and trust His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for your redemption and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Just as He blessed Abraham, so will He bless you when you are born again by faith in His Name.
In Christ,
