Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. (1Co 13:4-10)
But those without Him are lost and without hope in this world, and we need to share Him with them so that they may know Jesus Christ and the Salvation that He offers to those who repent and trust His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. His ultimate act of charity, in giving Himself in our place and to pay our sIn debt, is the answer to those who are still dead in their trespasses and sins and in need of redemption. All charity done apart from God may be good to this world, but apart from Christ are filthy rags and will not save anyone.
In Christ, we act charitably, not for ourselves or to gain Heaven or miss Hell, but because of the work He is doing in and through us, to conform us to the image of His dear Son, and to bring others to Christ. We minister to the hurting and in need, because God loves everyone and wants all to repent and turn to Him. We disciple one another so that we all may grow into maturity in Christ and be as He is, through His Word and we love one another as He loves us that all may know we are His disciples. We share His love through the Gospel to all that we meet, and as we go, we make disciples, teaching them to observe to do according to all that He commanded. We proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ so that those who hear and believe may repent and receiving Him by faith might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
