All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when He lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when He bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. (Isaiah 18:3-5)
Before Christ sets up His Millenial Kingdom, He is going to judge the whole earth. He is going to remove His ambassadors (The true Church) from this earth, and pour out His wrath upon the nations and peoples that have rejected Him. Those alive during that time will have the opportunity to repent and receive Christ by faith, and become the 'Tribulation Saints', but the Church will be gone. The influence of the Spirit will be different, for He will no longer dwell within the believer just as it was in the days before Jesus came and walked on this earth.
Jesus will cut down those nations and people who continue to shake their fist at Him, who continue to deny His Name, and curse Him, those who even today seek to change His Law and persecute His Church. It is not revenge, for He is Holy, but justice for their sIn. They have made a choice and there is no neutral position, as He said "He that is not with Me is against Me:" That statement would be ludicrous if Jesus is not exactly who He says He is; GOD in the flesh, Immanuel.
He is Lord, He is GOD, He is King. And all nations, peoples, and tongues will give an account for themselves to Him. You can face Him either as your Saviour, or if you have never been born again, never received His free gift by faith in His finished work on the cross of Calvary, you will face Him as Judge and there will be no payment for your sIn. You will be separated from GOD forever, in udder darkness because He has already condemned your sIn and pronounced you guilty.
Unless you repent, that is surrender to GOD on His terms and allow Him to take your place, you remain in your sIn, and a stranger to GOD. He is not willing that any should perish and calls you to repent, receive Him by faith, and allow Him to work in your life as a child of the King.
