For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us: Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sIn by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sIns of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sIn unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:24-28)
Our Great High Priest entered into Heaven with His own blood, shed for our sIn and satisfied the wrath and judgment of GOD. And for those who receive that gift paid for on their behalf, we are born again and will not experience the second death, because we are in Him and He is Life. But not an eternal life that comes by-and-by but an abundant and eternal life that began the moment we placed our faith and trust in the living risen GOD-Man Jesus Christ who bore our sIns on the Cross of Calvary.
And we look for His coming again to this earth to reward and rebuke His own, to judge the nations and peoples who have rejected Him, and rule His millennial Kingdom for a thousand years of rest before we enter into eternity with Him. This prophecy and promise is as sure as all the prophecies about His first appearance and incarnation. The first was a a suffering servant who would lay down His life as His own sacrifice, the second He comes as a ruling King.
If GOD wills, He may allow some to miss their appointment to physical death, but all those that die without Jesus will die in their sIns and then GOD's wrath and judgment is upon you and you must pay for your sIns. This is the second death. Those born twice will die once, but those born only once will die twice. But, GOD loves you so much that He died for you that you might live. He is not willing that any should perish and wants you to experience a brand new life in Him through the covenant relationship that He has already paid for. Repent and receive Him today.
If you are truly in Christ, celebrate your second birthday and rejoice in His return.
