O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise Him, all ye people. For His merciful kindness is great toward us: and the Truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalms 117:1-2)
The Psalmist sums up the theme of all the Psalms in the shortest Psalm. Praise the Lord. All nations and peoples praise Him. Praise Jesus for His mercy, His love, His goodness. Praise Him for all His blessings. Share Him with those that don't yet know Jesus.
Praise Him for His Word which will never fail, which tells us of Him, and of ourselves. His Truth, given that all may know Him and come to repentance and Salvation. That is the Good News that we must share with all who will hear.
From the creation of all things by the Word, through the promise of a coming Saviour, to the Cross of Calvary, and finally the consummation of all things GOD's Word is faithful and true. It reveals GOD in all His aspects and power and man in his wickedness and sIn. Praise Him for taking our place and providing forgiveness to all who will receive it. Tell it to everyone that they might believe.
His grace, His mercy, His Word, His life in us. How much we have to praise Him for. Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who stepped out of Heaven and became the GOD-man to take our place on that cruel Roman cross as the sacrifice for our sIn, just as He foretold throughout His Word. He is worthy of all worship and praise, and we have much to share of what He has done for us.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to the knowledge of the Truth. The Truth that Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word, and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work of grace, and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Trust Him and be born again to share in His great Salvation and praise Him forever.
