For GOD is my King of old, working Salvation in the midst of the earth. Thou didst divide the sea by Thy strength: Thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: Thou driedst up mighty rivers. The day is Thine, the night also is Thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun. (Psalms 74:12-16)
GOD is King over all creation. He is King over all the earth, and giveth Salvation to all those that surrender to Him on His terms. He is strong on behalf of His people. The one who divided the sea and the land during the Flood of Noah's day is the same GOD who made all the creatures, including the dinosaurs and sea monsters. He is great and Holy and deserves our worship and praise for all His wondrous works.
This same GOD cares for His people, and provides for their needs; whether they are wandering in the desert and wilderness, or resting in the midst of plenty. GOD who can give water, or dry up the rivers, can handle whatever comes our way. He who made all things, including the sun, moon, and stars, can and does give to His people every good and perfect gift according to His mercy, love, and grace.
His best and most perfect gift of course, is the Salvation that He provided when Jesus stepped out of Heaven, and went willingly and humbly to the Cross of Calvary to pay the sIn debt we owed, that we might have His righteousness, forgiveness, and Holiness and receive by faith in Him eternal life. That is the Good News that we have to share with those we meet.
He freely offers the gift of Salvation to all those that will repent and believe in the finished and perfect work of Jesus Christ. GOD is not willing that any should perish (in Judgment) but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. The Truth that Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He wants you to be born again, and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Let the Lord of the Universe be your Lord, GOD, and King today.
