And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting. The mercy of our Lord Jesus, brings us from what we were before our repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary into a relationship with GOD the Father and makes us a new creature in Christ. The work of the Spirit within and the washing of the Word cleanses us and conforms us into the image of His dear Son. We are no longer what we were, and by His grace we are what we are and we are becoming what He wants us to be, until He takes Home to be with Him.
Jesus Christ came as a man, though He was and is GOD in every respect, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, and put to death the flesh for our sins, to pay the sin debt for every one who will receive it, and reconcile those that trust Him, and Him alone for Salvation, to the Father. He lived a perfect sinless life and offered Himself in our place, to redeem us from the guilt and shame of sin, and give a eternal life through forgiveness of our sin. He everliveth to intercede for His own, at the right hand of the Father, until He returns, first for His own, and then to rule and reign on this earth for a thousand years.
Until that day, Our Lord and our GOD has called us to serve, as His ambassadors to this broken and sinful world, that they may know His love, as we minister to those who are hurting and in need out of the abundance which GOD provides. While we are here, we are commanded to love our family in His Church, as members one of another and as He loved us, who is our Head. As long as He is working in us and through us, we are commissioned to take the Gospel to this lost and dying world, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who will hear, repenting and trusting in Jesus Christ that they might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
