GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His Glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His Power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right Hand of the Majesty on High; Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than they. (Hebrews 1:1-4)
We now begin a journey through the New Testament. We are going to start here in the book of Hebrews which shows the excellency of Christ above all else.
Our Lord is greater than the angels He created, He is better than any other man for He is the GOD-Man who put on flesh, and gave Himself willingly and in humble obedience to the Father, in our place on the cruel Roman cross. He is the Body of our GOD, the Word made flesh, and is now at the seat of Authority as intercessor for His own, righteous Judge over all the earth, and soon coming King.
Until that day, He holds all things together by His Word, and while we await the inheritance we already possess that He purchased for us by His blood we are to go to every person and tell them the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who provided Himself, the Lamb of GOD for our sin and to offer us forgiveness and Salvation by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word, and receive Him by faith, surrendering to Him on His terms, and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Trust Him and be born again today.
