Blessed are the undefiled in the Way, who walk in the Law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in His ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep Thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep Thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all Thy commandments. I will praise Thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned Thy righteous judgments. "When we walk with the Lord in the Light of His Word", we are blessed. As obedient children of our Heavenly Father we not only receive bountiful blessings, but our way is made sure, and we have hope in this world. We are to diligently study, carefully meditate, and look to Him for understanding of all His Word. We don't pick and choose which parts to believe, for that would make us the authority over GOD. We do have to understand the times and the seasons, and rightly divide the Word of Truth, as the Spirit gives us knowledge, but we cannot set aside the inconvenient or uncomfortable passages just because we don't like what GOD is saying.
We seek GOD, first in our Salvation because He is the Way, and the only Saviour. We seek Him through His Word, which reveals Him in all His attributes and Glory.
We fear Him, because of what we see Him do, and because we know Him and understand from all His commandments and precepts who He is.
We praise GOD because our faith, which comes by hearing from GOD, through the Word of GOD, is not blind or in vain, but built on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ and His great Salvation. And our understanding and knowledge of GOD's Word comes because He teaches us all things. Those of us who know Him, and have trusted Him for forgiveness of our sIn and Salvation have met Him first in the pages of Scripture, and we continue to learn of Him as we read, hear, study, memorize, and meditate on His Word.
Because it is a Spiritual Book, and a Living Word, GOD's Word only makes sense to those whom GOD is speaking to. If GOD is telling you that you don't have that kind of relationship with Him, He is also telling you that you must be born again. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Jesus loves you and is not willing that you should perish, He wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Trust and believe His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for your Salvation and start your new walk in the Word today.
