The LORD is righteous: He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the Name of the LORD. (Psalms 129:4-8)
But until that day, He has given His Church the command and responsibility to share the message of hope to all the world. We are to preach His Word to every one, proclaiming His judgment and His mercy to all who will hear. We are to disciple those within the Church, and welcome all who will come to receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for their sIn.
The Psalmist rejoiced in that day, that the enemies of Israel could not be counted for destruction. Today, we are not to rejoice in the wicked, or the ways of this world, but are to be about our Father's business and tell the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who gave Himself, willingly and in humble obedience to the Father, to pay the sin price we cannot pay.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but wants you to surrender to Him on His terms and be born again. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with Him that is real and personal. Believe His Word and trust Him for Salvation and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Then you can truly rejoice as a child of GOD and no longer His enemy.
In Christ,
