But when the fulness of the time was come, GOD sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, To redeem them that were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, GOD hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of GOD through Christ. Howbeit then, when ye knew not GOD, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known GOD, or rather are known of GOD, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. (Gal 4:4-10)
Those in Christ should not go back to that which we did before Christ and that which was not of Christ and His Word. Nor should we look to observances which do not honor Jesus Christ as though keeping them saves us, or keeps us saved. For the Christian, only Christ satisfies the Law, and only Jesus Christ, and our faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, can save any one. That is why He came, at the right time, in GOD's perfect time, to save sinners, for all who are not in Christ are under condemnation for sIn.
We are adopted because of our repentance and trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son. We are translated into the Kingdom of GOD and possessed by the Spirit of GOD. We are new creatures in Christ by the work of GOD. Spiritually, relationally, and legally GOD has justified, made peace, and satisfied all His requirements in His Son and we have His righteousness, not to sIn or go our own way, but to live in Him and at liberty to do His will and work in this lost and dying world.
We are free from the penalty of sIn because His sacrifice has paid it all. We are free from the power of sIn when we rely on the Spirit within and the engrafted Word to overcome temptation. We will be free from the presence of sIn when Jesus takes us Home to be with Him and remakes this world following His Judgment and the Kingdom of Heaven.
Until that day, we are to disciple one another and follow Him in obedience to His Word and grow in grace and the knowledge of Him through His Word, being conformed to the image of His dear Son. We are to minister, as ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD, to those around us who are hurting and in need, as GOD provides. We are to love one another, as Christ loved us, that all may know we are His disciples. We are to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, so that those who hear and believe the Good News of peace and reconciliation with GOD may repent of their sins and have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
