Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you. (Job 17:8-10)
Those that are in Christ are righteous and upright, not in their own strength or power, for we are without any righteousness of our own, but through repentance and our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. We are made new creatures in Him when we believe and receive eternal life, not just a future and hope in Heaven, but a new life hidden in Christ who makes us His own, and an abundant life that we now life in Him and through Him who is our life. Our hope is in Him who died for us that we might live.
Because of our new life in Him, we are to live His life in this sinful and broken world, not of it or conformed to its ways, but transformed by His Word we serve Him in gratitude for all He is, our Creator, Redeemer, and King. We serve Him as He calls us to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, and with the blessings of GOD which He gives that we might give to others. We serve Him as He commands us to love one another, not in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth, and to disciple one another in His Word until we are all grown up into the full measure of Him who first loved us. We serve Him as commissioned to be His witnesses, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Word of GOD, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and as we go proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son that those who believe that Jesus is the Christ might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
