For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from GOD. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. His disciples said unto Him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that Thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask Thee: by this we believe that Thou camest forth from GOD. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (Joh 16:27-33)
The love of the Father demonstrated through the sacrifice of the Son and testified by the Spirit through the Word. Jesus was going to the Cross, and His disciples would not see Him in the flesh for three days and three nights, then they would see Him again after the resurrection. They would mourn His death, celebrate His resurrection, and after Jesus left them again and the Spirit came, they would remember all the things that they had heard and seen and Holy Ghost would guide them into all Truth. They were scattered by the Roman authorities and their own fear, but after the Spirit empowered them, they turned the world upside down with their Doctrine, their faith and the power of the Gospel.
Jesus, the Prince of Peace, gives us a supernatural peace that passeth all understanding in this world, not of it, nor does this world have this peace, for it comes from the Spirit which the natural man cannot understand, nor doth he know the things of the Spirit for they are spiritually discerned. We know Him and therefore His peace can reign in our hearts, along with the other gifts and fruits He wills and manifests in us, when we are obedient to Him and the Word of GOD. We walk by faith and not by sight until He returns for His own and we are evermore with the Lord.
We are to walk in this world, but not of it, as the Holy Ghost empowers us to do His will and accomplish His work that the Son may be lifted up and the Father might be glorified in all things. We are called to minister, as His ambassadors, to those around us who are hurting and in need, to meet others needs as GOD gives the increase. We are commanded to love one another and to grow in His Word as His disciples. We are commissioned to take the Gospel wherever He sends us, and tell all who will hear of the Good News of Jesus Christ that those who repent of their sIn and believe in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
