He is alive

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: He is risen; He is not here: behold the place where they laid Him. (Mar 16:2-6)
Our Lord, having paid our sin debt, yet without sin, Himself was not subject to death. The grave could not hold Him. Death could not keep Him, for He is life. He has paid for our sins, and satisfied the Father’s wrath, and all who receive Him by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary are no longer under condemnation but free. We free to free to live in Him the life we are meant to live through Him and free to live a life of holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

The stone was not rolled away to let Him out, but that His disciples and followers would see in, and know that He had risen, that He was alive, and would see them just as He said. The angel was sitting, no longer covering the mercy seat, but now at rest, just as we rest in Him who is our life, our peace, and our rest, because He has fulfilled the Law, made a way for us to have peace with GOD through His sacrifice and given us victory over sin, death, and the grave. We have victory in Him, not to live as we please, or to do as we will, but to accomplish His will and do the work He has for us to do in this broken and sinful world.

The Lord Jesus has called His redeemed Church to serve Him as His ambassadors, with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, and to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need with that which GOD provides. Our GOD and Saviour has commanded us to love one another as He first loved us and gave Himself for us, and to disciple one another in His Word that we might grow up into the full measure of Him who commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Our Master has commissioned us into His service to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and as we go, proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

Art Thou the King of the Jews?

And it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the superscription of His accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS. And with Him they crucify two thieves; the one on His right hand, and the other on His left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And He was numbered with the transgressors.
And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. And when the centurion, which stood over against Him, saw that He so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of GOD. (Mar 15:25-28, 37-39)
Jesus went willingly and humbly in our place to pay our sin debt and satisfied the Father’s wrath. Our sin was, and is, worthy of death, and only a perfect and spotless sacrifice of blood would be accepted. The sacrifice of animals had covered sin up to this point, and now GOD Himself, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who had become a man and lived a sinless life, the Lamb of GOD, offered Himself and took on all the sin of the world. He took all the sin of the world upon Himself, your sin, my sin, all sin upon Him who had never sinned that we who were dead in our trespasses and sins might receive the righteousness of GOD in Him.

When we acknowledge our sin, repent, and forsake our sin while trusting GOD, placing our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary we are born again and made new creatures in Christ. We are free from sin and its wages, not to sin all we want or do as we will, but to do His will and liberty to live the life we are meant to live in Him. We are here to accomplish His work in this broken and sinful world, as His ambassadors and servants of the most High GOD. GOD has made a way to come to Him and removed the separation between GOD and man. We can come boldly unto Him who is our life, our Creator, Redeemer, and King.

Our Lord, who gave Himself for His Church, has called His people to serve Him, to submit to His Word, and to share His message of hope with all this world. We are to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, and with the providence of GOD. Our GOD and Saviour has commanded us to love one another even as He first loved us, and to disciple one another that all may be equipped to the work of the ministry and edified in the body of Christ. Our Master has commissioned us to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world that they might hear the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son that all those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Could you not, keep watch with Me, but one hour?

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. And He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto Thee; take away this cup from Me: nevertheless not what I will, but what Thou wilt. And He cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. And again He went away, and prayed, and spake the same words. (Mar 14:34-39)
Jesus was approaching His final hours on this earth before the Cross and His heart was heavy with the burden of sin that would be thrust upon Him for our sake and in our place. All the while He humbled Himself and did His Father's will that the purposes of GOD to redeem all who would repent of their sin and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary would be accomplished. Even with the burden of death and sin that would be placed upon Him, who knew no sin but became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of GOD in Him, He always did the will of the Father and all that His Father gave Him to do.

His disciples, being up late and into the early morning hours of that fateful day, were weary and fell asleep. Not realizing the full impact of what was to come, despite His teachings about being turned over to the authorities and offered for sin and a ransom for many, they did not watch and pray as He desired. How often we let the cares of this world and our physical limits interfere with what GOD would have us to do. He tells we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and that is not talking about doing our will, or fulfilling our desires and lusts, or meeting our agenda or for our glory, but accomplishing His Will and all that He calls us to do in service, in discipleship, and in evangelism, that He might be glorified in us. He is our life, our strength, and our protection, against the attacks of this world, the weakness of the flesh, and the temptations and sin which would steal our joy, kill our relationships, and destroy our testimony and ministry, as we work for Him and do all that He calls us to do.

Our Lord has sent us as His servants and ambassadors of His Kingdom into this world, not to be conformed by it and its ways, but with the mind and heart of Christ, to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, as GOD provides, that others might see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. GOD has commanded us to love one another in fellowship, as members one of another, and to disciple one another in His Word until we all grow up into the full measure of Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. We have been commissioned into the army of the Lord to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit that is within us, and as we go to this lost and dying world, proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD might have life in His Name.

GOD hath taken away my judgment

But none saith, Where is GOD my Maker, who giveth songs in the night; who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. Surely GOD will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. Although thou sayest thou shalt not see Him, yet judgment is before Him; therefore trust thou in Him. (Job 35:10-14)
Elihu continues his diatribe against Job and his counselors by trying to say that Job is acting just like the wicked around him who act like there is no GOD when deep down they know there is. Like many who try to deny GOD they are angry with GOD and don't want to be accountable to Him. Elihu declares that their pride is the reason for their sin, and even Job and his friends have this problem, for we all do. But Job was righteous, not in his own works or by any thing he had done, but by his faith in the Almighty GOD who had redeemed him.

All of the characters in the little drama have misplaced notions about GOD and His holiness and righteousness, and none of them knew of the spiritual scenes played out at the beginning. The reality all will learn, and we can learn from Job, is that GOD is, that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, and that Jesus Christ has revealed Himself in Creation, in His Word, and then when He humbled Himself and put on flesh and paid for our sins, that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in Him by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

You can either bow before GOD in surrender to Him on His terms now, acknowledging and repenting of your sin, and receiving His forgiveness by faith, or you can spend all eternity experiencing the eternal punishment for your sins which you have rightly earned. The wages of sin is death, not just physical death, for we all may experience that, but separation from GOD who is life. The gift of GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, paid for through His blood and sacrifice in our place, and for our sins, that we might have an abundant life in Him, not to sin all we want, but to live the life we were meant to live in, through, and for Him who is our life.

That is the message of hope and judgment that GOD's church is to take to this lost and dying world. We are to be His ambassadors, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, ministering as His servants to those around us who hurting and in need. We are to be His disciples, loving one another with an unfeigned love as we disciple one another in His Word that we may  grow thereby. We are to be His witnesses, taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this broken and sinful world, and as we go in the power of the Holy Spirit proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that all who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. He shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty

4/27/2016

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of GOD upon them.
Therefore they say unto GOD, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of Thy ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto Him?
That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? (Job 21:7-9, 14-15, 30-31)
Job's question regarding those who live in such opposition to GOD and His ways is one we all have. GOD allows people time to come to themselves and repent, that they may turn to Him and live, not just a life pleasing to Him, but a life abundant and eternal by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. But GOD'S patience and long-suffering will not last forever, and those that die in their sins, even if they enjoyed a 'good' life here, will not be in His presence in their next existence. All those who refuse to surrender to GOD on His terms and be born again, living in Him the life we were meant to live, will suffer the wrath and Judgment of GOD. We are all guilty, and condemned by GOD, who is Holy and just, and must punish sin. Though many reject GOD and demand, in word or in practice, that He stay out of 'their' lives, when they stand before their Creator, there will be no more opportunity for grace and mercy.

GOD'S grace and mercy are offered in this life, that we all may be in right relationship and fellowship with our Creator, Redeemer, and King. He made all of us, and has every right to reject those who will not receive Him on His terms through repentance of their sins and faith in Him and His Word. He has paid the price for our sins, even the wicked, and wants all to receive Him and have eternal life. He is coming back to judge this world and establish His Kingdom and He will bring the faithful unto Himself, but those that reject Him and His people will be cast out of His presence. If you don't know Him today, don't wait for a better time, or until you are better, to trust Him for Salvation.

Those of us who are secure and resting in Him are called to be His servants and ambassadors, children of the King. We are to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, as GOD provides, and with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Those of us who are in His family, the body of Christ, are commanded to love one another as He first loved us, and to disciple one another in His Word that His people might be edified, encouraged, and equipped to do the work of the ministry He has called us to do through Him. Those who have received Him and been made new creatures in Christ are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, and as we go where He sends us, we are to proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe in Him might have Life in His Name.

GOD shall cast the fury of His wrath upon him

4/26/2016

He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through. It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him. All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle. The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him. The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath. This is the portion of a wicked man from GOD, and the heritage appointed unto him by GOD. (Job 20:24-29)
Zophar responds to Job's pointed rejection of his counsel and advice by doubling down on his opinion that the wicked perish and do not prosper in this world, so Job must be wicked. He was totally incorrect in application of GOD'S Judgment of sin, and ignored the reality in his own world, as well as the timing of GOD'S patience and long-suffering that sinners may repent. Zophar condemned the wicked without mercy, rejected any idea that sinners often prosper in the sin for a season, that not every one is bothered or convicted by their sin, and failed to consider the testing and trials which GOD may put us through to make us stronger.

Many things may come upon the wicked, those that have truly rejected GOD and the ardently opposed to Him, but even the most hardhearted person can be saved by the power of GOD, the Word of GOD, and the Spirit which convicts and points people to Christ. Many things also happen to His saints, as He allows, either because He is testing their faith, as in this case, or because He is drawing His people closer to Himself. This life is full of evil and calamities, and GOD can direct events because He is Sovereign,  but He also allows other events simply to happen in this world that is broken and dying because of our sin against Him. Death occurs because sin brings death and rebellion brings judgment. Sin occurs because we are sinners and our nature without the new life which Christ gives those who are His leads us to sin in this lost and sinful world.

We who have repented of our sin, because we acknowledged our sin and its awful consequences before a righteous and Holy GOD, and received His forgiveness by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary were made a new creature in Him, with a new life and a new nature, and liberty to live in Him the life which we were all meant to live. That does not mean every thing will be perfect, just ask Job, but that GOD will be with us all the way, and He will carry us through whatever He directs and allows to come our way, for His honour and Glory and that we might be made more like Him until He is done with us and takes us Home to be with Him.

Until that day, all those who are secure in Him, not because of our righteousness, but because of His bestowed upon us, are to serve Him and do His will in this world and accomplish His work while we sojourn here. We are to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are to love one another in fellowship and ministry, and disciple one another in His Word that we may be equipped, encouraged, and edified to the work of the ministry and the exhortation of the saints. We are to go with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit which dwells within us, and as we go where He sends us, to proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son that those who repent and believe in Him might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. That ye may know there is a judgment

4/25/2016

Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of GOD hath touched me. Why do ye persecute me as god, and are not satisfied with my flesh? Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see GOD: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. (Job 19:21-27)
Job responds to his friends counsel with a well deserved tirade against them for their words of condemnation and rebuke. Job knew that more was going on here, even though he didn't recognize the test that was involved. He knew that GOD had brought this, even though the reality Job was not aware of is that GOD had allowed the testing of His servant. His friends were even worse in their misunderstanding of Job's test and of the nature and character of GOD. Job knew his condition and knew He would see His Lord, His Creator, Redeemer, and King.

Job got his wish that his words be written down. History does not record who wrote them, but they were written for us to review and study that we might learn from Job. Can we say with the same certainty that we know Jesus lives, and that we shall see Him who has redeemed us from the curse and saved us from our sins and from ourselves. We have more of His revelation of Himself than Job had, and yet many still do not believe. We have His Word, which will not fail, and will never be wrong, and it leads to repentance of our sins and faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for forgiveness and Salvation. Jesus is our Lord, our Creator, Redeemer, and King.

GOD's mercy, even in the testing of Job, means we are not consumed. His grace offers unto us eternal life in Him. But, when His cup of wrath is full, there is coming a judgment and His justice will be rendered perfectly unto all who have rejected Him. Those who have never repented of their sins and acknowledged His Holiness and their need of Him will face Jesus Christ as their Judge. Those who have never received Jesus Christ and surrendered to Him on His terms will bow to GOD in His righteous anger and justice. Those who have never been forgiven and redeemed, not as a license to sin all we want, but as liberty to live in and through Him who is our life, will suffer the second death. GOD is long-suffering, but He is also righteous and Holy, and must punish sin by death. We can never pay for our own, but Christ has already paid the penalty for sin, the just for the unjust, that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in Him.

The message of Hope we have is the only message which will save. Only Christ can redeem, only Jesus can deliver the lost, only GOD can forgive all sin and make us new creatures in Him, to have His abundant and everlasting life. The love of GOD constrains us to go and tell all who will hear of His love for all, commended to us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We live in Him, to serve Him, and meet the needs of those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are His workmanship, loving one another in fellowship as we disciple all believers in His Word, and do His will and accomplish His work in this broken and sinful world. We go with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, where He sends us to proclaim to this lost and dying world the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe that He is the Christ, the Son of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. My roarings are poured out like the waters

For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master. (Job 3:13, 17-19)
Job, in his misery during this first week when his friends and comforters came and lamented his condition, didn't cry out to GOD for answers yet, but wished for death, even crying that he had never been born. Neither wish was helpful at this point, even though his grief was very real and his condition was very painful and grievous. But, even in his lamenting and crying, He didn't charge GOD foolishly.

Those of us who are born again by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary and trusting in His great Salvation through repentance of our sin, ought not to allow our circumstances to control us, nor should we respond to them, even in trials and tribulations, we ought to be worshipful, grateful, and at rest in Him who is our peace in the midst of the storm. We may not be happy with what is happening around us, or the evil calamities we may suffer in this broken and dying world, but we can be joyful in the Spirit and wait patiently on the Lord. Though all around us may be chaotic and uncontrollable, He is our strength. Though we may not see the goodness in those things which come our way, He is our Lord and is in control, working all things for His glory and for His purpose of conforming us to His image and growing us into the full measure of Him.

For GOD calls His Church to serve, as His ambassadors, not sitting around the meeting house congratulating ourselves on how spiritual we are because we bothered to show up on Sunday, but ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the things of this life, and with the Word of GOD, rightly divided and fitly spoken. GOD commands His children to love one another in fellowship, forgiving and forbearing one another, and as members in particular, even as He loved us, and to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may grow thereby.  GOD has commissioned and sent His people forth in the power of the Holy Spirit and with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that as we go into this lost and dying world, we may proclaim His Good News of forgiveness of sin through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son that in believing that Jesus is the Christ they might have life in His Name.

Reserved unto judgment

3/25/2016

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the Way of Truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2Pe 2:1-3)
Those that deny the Lord Jesus Christ and corrupt His Word and the great Salvation which He has purchased by His own blood on the Cross of Calvary with false narratives and natural explanations, especially those that lead His people astray from the Truth of GOD, will be judged for their pernicious ways when they stand before their Creator and receive the just reward for their sin and transgressions. All people have a choice while they are still living, deny the Lord Jesus Christ and reject His love and paid gift of Salvation, as demonstrated by the empty cross and the empty tomb, and die in your sins, or receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith and repentance and be born again and adopted into the family of GOD, a new creature in Christ, sealed until the day of judgment, and translated into His Kingdom.

GOD is not willing that any should perish, but those that chose to live apart from Him are given the choice to remain separated for all eternity. All of us have been judged for our sin and rebellion against our Holy and Righteous GOD, the only wise GOD and our Saviour. Those that repent and put their trust in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross are saved, but those who refuse to surrender to Him on His terms remain lost and dead in their trespasses and sins. We cannot pay for our sin, for we are already guilty and worthy of death. Only the sinless death of a perfect sacrifice can pay for sin. The sacrifices brought in faith in the Messiah covered sin for a season, but when Christ humbled Himself and became a man and went willingly and humbly to that cruel Roman cross, He paid our penalty for sin and took our place, redeeming those that believe from the curse of sin and death, and satisfied the wrath of GOD.

We who are in Christ, having been delivered from the kingdom of darkness, are called to shine in this world, serving as His ambassadors with the Word of righteousness and ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need. We are commanded to love one another even as He loved us and gave Himself for us, as we disciple one another in the Word of God that we may grow thereby and have our senses exercised to discern both good and evil. We are commissioned to take the Good News of forgiveness of sin through repentance and reconciliation with the Father to this lost and dying world, and as we go, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all that will hear, that they may believe that Jesus is the Christ and have life in His Name.

That GOD in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the Name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of GOD resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify GOD on this behalf. (1Pe 4:12-16)
The things we endure in this world may not make us happy, but we can be joyful and grateful, for our GOD will bring us through it, and use it for His purposes. The joy of the Lord is our strength to endure, and He tells us to give thanks in all things for that is His will for us in Christ Jesus. If He has not directed it to strengthen or correct some aspect of our walk and character, He allows it to occur that we might trust in Him and glorify Him in all things. As we walk by faith in this life, we are to rest in Him and lean on His everlasting arms, secure in His hand, that no matter what we go through, even death itself, He is right there with us, and He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He cannot fail.

The evil and calamity of this broken and dying world is temporary, but for those in Christ, the promise of Glory and our presence with our Lord is eternal. We are to look to eternal things and not temporary, for those who do not know Him, who have never received Him through repentance and faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, their eternity will be spent separated from GOD and suffering eternal punishment for sIn. We have all been judged by GOD and guilty of death. But GOD took our punishment upon Himself that we might live, not only in eternity with Him, but as a new creature in Christ, the eternal and abundant life we were meant to live in Him and through Him. That is the message of Hope which we are to preach and proclaim to all who will hear.

Those of us who are in Christ are to walk in Him in holiness and obedience to His Word that we might shine in this world as His children, ambassadors for the Kingdom and ministers of reconciliation, called to serve those around us who are hurting and in need as GOD blesses us and provides for us to do His will and accomplish His work while we sojourn here in this lost and dying world. His Church is commanded to love one another and disciple one another, perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ as we grow in knowledge of Him who first loved us. GOD has commissioned the people of GOD to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, in the power of the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance, and as we go, proclaim the Good News of forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with the Father, that those who repent and believe in Him might have life in His Name.
