Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I AM the LORD

9/30/2014

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy GOD giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
(Exo 20:12-17)

These last six commandments given by GOD reflect His desire for us to love our neighbour as ourselves.
To love and honor those that that raised us, and represented GOD to us when young, however imperfectly they may have done so.
To love and honor the life of others, born and unborn, because GOD is Life.
To love and honor the marriage, and keep ourselves pure, because GOD is Holy.
To love our neighbour and honor their possessions as their own, for GOD is our provider, and will meet all our needs.
To love honestly and honor one another with the truth, for GOD is Truth.
To love and honor others more than ourselves, and not try to keep up with an unhealthy desire (which is idolatry) for what they have. GOD only gives us what we can handle, and we are to trust Him and be content with what He blesses us with.

All the commandments point to our Holy and Righteous GOD, who alone is GOD, who alone is worthy of our worship, whose Name is Holy, and is our Creator and King. The Lord of Life, GOD of the Universe, who is Life and Truth, is our Provider and Redeemer. He is worthy of our love, obedience, honor, and praise.

But, He also knows that in ourselves, by our own ability, we cannot keep His Laws, nor can we approach Him. He came to us, humbly and willingly becoming a man, in the likeness of sinful flesh, that we might become the righteousness of Him. He kept the Law perfectly, followed and obeyed the will of His Father, and took our place to pay our sIn debt. These commandments remind us of what GOD requires, and of what it cost GOD to provide us the only way to be reconciled with Him. Our covenant with GOD was paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ, and we entered into that covenant by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

We are to tell others of His love for them. In ministry and missions to the hurting, meeting their needs as GOD provides the increase. In discipleship, connecting and loving one another, as we grow in His Word. In evangelism, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to those that need to hear. Three parts to the whole work of the Church that all are to be about: that others may see Christ in us, learn and know of Jesus, and hear the Gospel and in believing have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt, that you might rest in Him. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always, and enter into spiritual rest in Him.

In Christ,

God did rest the seventh day from all His works

9/29/2014

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy GOD: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exo 20:8-11)

GOD commands us to rest. He knows our bodies need the break each week. He created us, He knows how He made us and what our bodies need. He also demands worship, as Creator and King. The Lord of the Universe deserves our worship, gratitude, and praise. He is King of kings and Lord of lords, who created all things. He tells us here that He did so in six twenty-four days, and then rested, and calls us to rest in observance and honor to our Creator Lord.

We also rest in Him, for those of us who are His by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary have entered into His rest. We no longer have to work to earn Salvation, which we could not do, but rest in Him and cease from our labor. The work we now do, we do in Christ and He in us, producing fruit for the Kingdom as He works in us. While we still rest physically, because He commands it, we also rest and worship Him every day because He is Lord.

As we rest, the work in us that Jesus Christ wills is for us to minister to those that are hurting, that others see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. He commands us to disciple one another in love that others may see our love and know we are His disciples. He has commissioned us to share the Gospel to all we meet, and as we go, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world. That they may hear and believe, and believing in His forgiveness and reconciliation with GOD through Jesus Christ may have life in His Name.

GOD is an awesome GOD, above all others, whose Name is Holy

9/26/2014

And GOD spake all these words, saying, I AM the LORD thy GOD, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy GOD am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My Commandments. Thou shalt not take the Name of the LORD thy GOD in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain. (Exo 20:1-7)

In this sermon on Mount Sinai; GOD gives what we call the Ten Commandments, an expansion of the greatest Commandments, to love GOD with all thy heart, soul, mind, and strength; and your neighbour as yourself. These first three concern the acknowledgement that GOD alone is God, above all others, and no others are to be worshipped, made, prayed to, created or revered. Nor, are we to misuse the Name of GOD, any of them and all of them, neither as a curse or in blasphemy. Nor are we to use His Name, to legitimize or characterize that which is not of GOD, or against His character and Holiness. God is very jealous, and rightfully so, of His character, His Name, His Holiness, and His attributes: all that pertains to Him, for He alone is GOD; the Creator, Judge, and King.

GOD will Judge all, either in Christ for what they have done, or without for all their sIn, but will defend Himself and His Name because of His Holiness. He will not count even His own as blameless in misusing His Name, for it is Holy. As His people, we are to revere Him, and live in and through Him, that our character and behaviour reflects the Name by which we are called. Living for ourselves, when we are His, is also taking His Holy Name in vain. Nor can we who have placed our hope and trust in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, turn to anyone or anything else in worship, for Salvation, or even our needs. Our GOD is above all, and alone is worthy of praise, the only way of Salvation, and will provide according to His Will and in His time.

While we rest in Him, and keep His Name Holy, and lift Him above all else, we are to minister in His Name and according to His Will to those around us in need. We are to disciple one another to be more like Him from His Word, loving one another to provoke to good works. We are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ as we go, and in His Name share the message of repentance and faith in Him to those who hear that they might believe, and believing have life in His Name.

GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

Behold the Majesty of the LORD our GOD

9/25/2014

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with GOD; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish. And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them. (Exo 19:10-12, 16-18, 21-22)

That great and terrible day of the Lord. The people of Israel arrive at the Mount of the Lord just as He said they would, and He tells them to prepare to meet GOD. Of, course, that means cleansing and repentance for the people could not meet GOD face to face and live. He puts a space between them, and separates them from Himself because of His Holiness. The people even trembled at His voice, and worshipped when GOD approached the mountain., for He alone is GOD.

If we were to face the entire Tri-Unity of GOD in His Majesty and Holiness it would slay us, for He is Holy and above all. He is Sovereign and He alone is GOD of the Universe. And He loves us so much, that He, knowing that we could not face Him and come into His presence, humbly and willingly, became one of us. He took our place on that cruel Roman cross, that we might receive the righteousness of Him by faith and by His grace shed abroad in our hearts, boldly approach the Throne of GOD. The GOD that is Holy and unapproachable by sinful men, became a man who took our reproach and paid our sIn debt that we might see GOD.

GOD calls us to minister to those who don't yet have a relationship with Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. Those of us, who are covered by His mercy, and have received His forgiveness because of the blood of Jesus Christ, are to represent GOD to the people who are far from Him. We are to meet the needs of those who are hurting, as GOD provides the opportunity. We are to disciple one another, showing love and teaching His Word, that we all may grow in Christ. We are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all we meet, and as we go, share the Gospel of Salvation to all who will hear, that they may believe and believing have life in His Name.

GOD is Holy and righteous, but He calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always, without which you cannot be in His presence.

Ye should shew forth the praises of Him who has called you

9/24/2014

And Moses went up unto GOD, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto Myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an Holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD. (Exo 19:3-8)

GOD calls Moses and the people to Holiness, as His people they were to be a kingdom of priests to the world. GOD calls them to Holiness, that they shine forth as examples of Him; in obedience, in character, in gratitude, and in witness of His power, providence, and His presence in their lives.  Israel submitted themselves to the call of GOD at the time, and proclaimed that they would do all that GOD said, but history bears out a different story of rebellion and disobedience to the Word of GOD.

Today, GOD makes the same call to His Church, to be Holy, to be priests of GOD, to be witnesses of who He is to a lost and dying world. We are to represent our GOD to those who do not yet have a relationship with Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

Until He comes back for His own, we are to be His ministers, to show Christ to those in need, and share as GOD provides and gives the increase. We are to disciple one another, loving others and proclaiming Truth so that others grow. We are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, and as we go, lift Him up so that others may hear and believe, and believing have life in His Name.

Just as GOD calls His own to Holiness, GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

He that is greatest among you shall be your servant

9/23/2014

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening. And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even? And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of GOD:
And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good. Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.
And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves. (Exo 18:13-15, 17-18, 25-26)

Here we have the establishment of a tiered judicial system and the practice of delegating responsibilities to others over smaller groups. Jethro recognized that Moses was wearing himself out trying to manage literally millions of people and more requests than one person could handle. Setting up a tiered system of lesser judges and letting them manage locally would save all the people. This is the pattern for our own judicial system, both state and federal.

It is also a pattern of authority and responsibility that is useful for any organization, with the caveat that these judges were not rulers, but servants. Public servants are to serve the people, and in this case, interpret and apply the Law and settle disputes and disagreements. They served along side the priests who represented the people to GOD.

Today we have many who think that public service somehow makes them a ruler, or that a position of ministry makes them an authority instead of a servant. Jesus said those who would be great must be the servant of all, and He lived that example. GOD's people are to serve, to minister to one another and to those without in love so that others see Jesus in us. GOD's people are to learn and grow in Christ, for the servant of GOD is to be wise and have the mind of Christ. GOD's people are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who came to seek and to save the lost. As they go, they are to proclaim the Good News of Salvation through faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary to those around them, that they might hear and believe and believing have life in His Name.

Just as GOD calls His servants to serve, GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

Who is like unto Thee O LORD

9/22/2014

And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God: And he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her. And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent. And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them. And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians. And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians. Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly He was above them. (Exo 18:5-11)

Jethro brings Moses his wife and kids, and Moses rehearses all the events of the Exodus in his hearing. His response is worship of  the one true GOD for His victory and deliverance of the people of Israel. He also acknowledges that GOD alone is above all false gods which are made by men's hands and their vain imaginations. The God of Victory, who vanquished Egypt because of their sIn and oppression of Israel has vanquished the sins of the whole world. Our response is to turn from our sIn, and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, that we might be delivered just as Israel was.

The pride of people that refuse to repent and turn from their sIn, themselves, their false imagined gods will lead to judgment and destruction. Only those that surrender to GOD and submit to His way, through faith in Jesus Christ, will be delivered and redeemed. We rejoice in the GOD of our Salvation, and praise Him for His deliverance. We who are truly born again, are safe and secure in His arms, not as a license to sIn, but the freedom to live in, through, and for Him and accomplish His work in us. Work to conform us to the image of His dear Son, and work He wants us to do that others might be saved.

While we praise Him and Him alone, for being the GOD that He is, we also acknowledge that He has work for us to do, while we are ambassadors in this lost and dying world. The GOD of all the Universe, who became a man and took our place on that cruel Roman cross, calls us to minister to others that they might see Jesus in us, the Hope of Glory. The Master, who is both GOD and Man, commands us to disciple one another in love and in His Word, as committed followers of Him. The Word made Flesh, who spoke the worlds into being, has commissioned us to go and tell of the Good News of Salvation through faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. As we go, we are to proclaim His message of mercy and grace that those who hear might believe, and believing have life in His Name.

GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. Just as He provided victory over Egypt, He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, and let Him reign victorious in you, now and always.

The Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a Standard

9/19/2014

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. (Exo 17:9-16)

When the Amalekites fought with Israel, Israel prevailed as long as Moses could keep his hand, with the rod of the Lord in it, raised up as a standard. When Moses got tired, Aaron and Hur stood by and supported him. The Lord gave them victory, not only because of their obedience, but because of the strength and support they provided Moses to accomplish his task.

God called for a memorial, that Israel might remember, when the Amalekites had passed from history, what the Lord had done for Israel. Moses built an alter of remembrance, and dedicated it to The LORD our Banner, for GOD was their Standard.

We who are under the banner of GOD our Saviour by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, are called and commanded to help one another. We are to especially lift up those who are doing the work of the ministry, our leaders and pastors, both in prayer and in physical assistance to get the work done. We all have work to do because of what GOD has called us to do, and we need one another to accomplish the work of GOD. We need to pray for one another, we need to come along side and work together so that the burden is shared.

God has called His own to minisry and missions, of which all are to be a part of and support. He has called us to disciple one another through the teaching of the Word and fellowship with one another. He has commissioned us to the work of evangelism, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we go, and telling those who will hear of the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with GOD, that they may believe, and believing have life in His Name.

Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, and come under His banner, now and always.

If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink

9/18/2014

And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the Commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD? And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not? (Exo 17:1-7)

Once again the Israelites have no water, and instead of turning to GOD and asking Him, whom they cannot see, they blame Moses, whom they can see, for the calamity that they see in their immediate future. They have forgotten the power of GOD, the last time they were out of water, or any of His promises, because of their need. Moses goes before the Lord and laments for this rebellious people, that are ready to kill Moses. The Lord tells Moses what to do, to bring water from the smitten rock, and the water comes forth and the people are satisfied.

Jesus Christ is our smitten Rock, who gives us the water of life freely. When we were without strength, and could not save ourselves, He humbly and willingly became a man and took our place on the Cross of Calvary, to pay our sIn debt and provide the only way to the Father. Our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on that cross reconciles us with GOD and gives us a new nature that is Spirit filled, resurrected with Christ.

Because of what Jesus Christ has done for us, and because of our faith in Him and His power to complete all His work in us, without grumbling or complaining, to shed the living water of life that is within us, wherever GOD sends us. We have been commissioned to go and tell, and as we go, we are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Salvation He provides to those who put their trust in the Rock of Ages. We are called to disciple one another in love and in His Word that we are no more children, but grow up into Him in all things. We are called to minister to the hurting and in need, that others will see Jesus in us, the Hope of Glory. In all things we are to glorify GOD in our bodies, and take His message of hope and grace to this lost and dying world, so that those who hear may believe and believing have life in His Name.

GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. Just as He provided water from the rock, He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, and receive the water of life from the Rock, now and always.

I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger

9/17/2014

Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from Heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. (Exo 16:4-5, 13-15, 19-20, 22, 25-27)

GOD once again provides for His people, but in doing so requires obedience from them that exemplifies His character, and His plan. He gives them bread, but only their daily bread, for they are to trust Him and not store up that which He gives daily. For the Sabbath, He gives enough for two days, and they are to trust Him and not look or gather on the Sabbath. Many of the Israelites failed this test of obedience, for they stored up what was to be daily, and went out and sought that which they should have stored in preparation of the Sabbath. Their was no faith in Go

We are called to daily trust GOD and surrender to Him on His terms, that we might be blessed. Those who have the Spirit of GOD by faith in the finished and perfect work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary are to walk in faith, knowing whom we have believed, and that He will never leave us or forsake us. Our thoughts and daily actions should be so focused on Him, the bread of life, that we exemplify our GOD to those around us. As we rest in Him, and worship the One who loves us and gave Himself for us, He lives in us and accomplishes His work of sanctification and redemption, until we are glorified and Home with Him.

Until that day, we live in Him and He in us, redeeming the time. Doing the work of GOD, because of what He has done for us, we minister to the hurting and in need according to His will and providence. Through the Spirit, we disciple one another in love and in His Word that we may grow thereby, and become more like Jesus Christ. Under His leadership, we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all who will hear and believe, that believing they might have life in His Name.

GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. Just as He provided Manna, the bread from Heaven, to His people, He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, and receive the bread of life, now and always.

In Christ,
Jefferson Sweet
