He taught them as one that had authority

And they come again to Jerusalem: and as He was walking in the temple, there come to Him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, And say unto Him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, was it from Heaven, or of men? answer Me. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. (Mar 11:27-33)
Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son has authority and power to judge, to exercise dominion, to speak and teach Truth, for He is the Word made flesh. He is our Creator and has every right to set His terms for our behaviour and our redemption. He is our Redeemer and has paid the sin debt we cannot pay. He is our King and not only rules in the hearts of those who submit to His authority today, but one day He will rule His earthly Kingdom and then all eternity with the Father. He, with the Father and the Spirit, is the Supreme Authority, GOD of gods and Lord of lords, over kingdoms, princes, powers, and life itself, for He is our life, and all things come from Him. He ever liveth to make intercession for His own, and to draw all who will believe to the Father.

The scribes, and lawyers, and leaders of the Jews could not admit that His authority was from the Father because of their unbelief, nor could they condemn John, knowing the people's reaction and belief that he was a prophet from GOD. Their unwillingness, in their own pride and self-righteousness, to admit to anything and acknowledge the work of GOD led to their equivocation and acknowledging their unbelief. Pride will keep us from surrendering to GOD on His Terms and repenting of our sins, and our trust in our own righteousness and unwillingness to admit we need GOD will keep us from trusting in Jesus Christ and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary in our place and for our Salvation.

Those who are secure in Him and born again are to rest in that authority, not as license to sin, but His rightful demand of holiness and righteousness, as we serve our Lord and Master, fellowship with His people, and share Him with others. We are called to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that others might see Christ in us, the hope of glory. We are commanded to love one another as He loved us, and to disciple one another in His Word that all may grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him who died for us. We are commissioned as His witnesses, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world in the power of the Holy Spirit that is within us, and as we go, proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and acknowledging our sin and reconciliation with the Father through faith in the Son, that those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

What inheritance of the Almighty from on high?

For destruction from GOD was a terror to me, and by reason of His highness I could not endure. If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence; If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much; If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand: This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the GOD that is above. (Job 31:23-28)
Job finishes his lament concerning his condition and the counsel of his so-called friends by declaring his righteousness, not in his own actions, but by faith in the GOD who had redeemed and forgiven him. His offerings and sacrifices, and his obedience by faith, have covered his sin. He did not understand all that was happening, but he knew he strived to live according to the precepts of GOD as he knew them at the time. He understood that he could not make himself righteous nor could he save himself by his works, but that GOD would receive that which was offered in faith in Him and account it for righteousness.

Job did not put any trust in any thing of this world nor did he expect any thing natural to last. He recognized and acknowledged that GOD is above all and made all things and He is the one we must trust, for Salvation, for our needs, for blessing and prosperity, and even when things seem to go so wrong in this life, for He is our life, our hope, and our peace, even in the midst of the storm. He is above all things, and He is in control of all things, and nothing happens that is not allowed or directed. We are to trust Him and obey His Word, as He lives in us to accomplish His will and do His work in us, and in this sinful and broken world.

His work, through His church, is to serve and minister to people that they might come to know Him. He has called us to be His servants and ministers, reaching people who are hurting and in need, with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, as ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD. He has commanded His family to love one another as members of His body and to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He has commissioned His people to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, going and serving in the power of the Holy Spirit that is within us, and proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, that those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. His eyes are upon their ways.

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know Him not see his days?
They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death. He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree. (Job 24:1, 16-20)
Job continues his diatribe against his friends wrong view of the wicked, justice, and GOD as he declares that GOD's ways are not our own, nor His timing. The wicked certainly must receive the recompense for their deeds and their sin against a Holy and Righteous GOD who judges rightfully. But it will be in GOD'S good timing, for GOD takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, not does He desire that they perish without repentance and the opportunity to turn from their wicked ways and receive His free gift of Salvation. He is long-suffering and is giving all who will come to Him the time to do so, but the days of His patience will come to an end, and He will judge those that oppose Him.

The wicked may seem to be prospering in this life, for prosperity and worldly wisdom and possessions are no indicator of Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. But, poverty and dire circumstances are no sign of a life devoted to GOD either. GOD certainly blesses His own, but not necessarily in what we possess, and He corrects and chastises those who are His as well. The Spirit of Christ, received by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary and repentance of our sins, is the only true indicator of who is in Christ and who is not, and by their fruit shall we know them.

GOD is working in His own to produce fruit and accomplish His will and do His work in this sinful and broken world. We are called to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory.  We are commanded to love one another as He loved us, and to disciple one another in His Word that we may grow thereby and be conformed to the image of His dear Son. We have been commissioned to go with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and as we go in the power of the Holy Spirit wherever He send us, to proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father to those who believe that Jesus is the Christ, that in believing they might have life in His Name.

I shall come forth as gold

I would order my cause before Him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which He would answer me, and understand what He would say unto me. Will He plead against me with His great power? No; but He would put strength in me. There the righteous might dispute with Him; so should I be delivered for ever from my Judge.
My foot hath held His steps, His way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the Commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
(Job 23:4-7, 11-12)
Job once makes an impassioned plea to speak to GOD and make his case that he was righteous and that his sin was covered by the sacrifices GOD had required. Job knew that without his sin covered on GOD'S terms, he would be unrighteous and unable to stand before a Holy and Righteous GOD. He also knew that His Redeemer and Judge would deliver him, not only from this particular calamity, but from all that was not good, in His time.

Job had remained in the way of GOD, and kept His Commandments as he had them at the time. He had kept the words which GOD had given Him and cherished them more than even food. They were precious to Him, for they were life. He would not turn back, not could he go away from GOD and try his own way, for then he would no longer be right in the sight of GOD and would not get his answer.

The trials that come our way may not be pleasant at the time, nor are the consequences of sin, if we choose that for a season. GOD chastises those who are His own, and corrects His children that they may grow up into Him and be conformed, not to this world, but to the image of His Son. GOD allows events, evil, and calamities to occur in this sinful and broken world, because we rebelled against Him and our sin has corrupted every thing we once knew as perfect. GOD can direct events to transpire for our growth, to bring people to Himself, or show sinners their need for Him. Most of all He wants His people to be about our Father's business to take the Word of GOD to this lost and dying world that they may know Him and receive His great Salvation.

We are here to serve, to love and minister, and to preach and proclaim His Word in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. We are called to serve Him, as His ambassadors, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, as we minister to those around us who are hurting and in need. We are commanded to love one another even as He loved us and gave Himself for us, and to disciple one another in His Word as we grow and are equipped, edified, and encouraged in the work of the ministry. We are commanded by our Lord to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we go in the power of the Holy Spirit to every one we meet and proclaim His Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe might have life in His Name.

That ye may know there is a judgment

4/25/2016

Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of GOD hath touched me. Why do ye persecute me as god, and are not satisfied with my flesh? Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see GOD: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. (Job 19:21-27)
Job responds to his friends counsel with a well deserved tirade against them for their words of condemnation and rebuke. Job knew that more was going on here, even though he didn't recognize the test that was involved. He knew that GOD had brought this, even though the reality Job was not aware of is that GOD had allowed the testing of His servant. His friends were even worse in their misunderstanding of Job's test and of the nature and character of GOD. Job knew his condition and knew He would see His Lord, His Creator, Redeemer, and King.

Job got his wish that his words be written down. History does not record who wrote them, but they were written for us to review and study that we might learn from Job. Can we say with the same certainty that we know Jesus lives, and that we shall see Him who has redeemed us from the curse and saved us from our sins and from ourselves. We have more of His revelation of Himself than Job had, and yet many still do not believe. We have His Word, which will not fail, and will never be wrong, and it leads to repentance of our sins and faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for forgiveness and Salvation. Jesus is our Lord, our Creator, Redeemer, and King.

GOD's mercy, even in the testing of Job, means we are not consumed. His grace offers unto us eternal life in Him. But, when His cup of wrath is full, there is coming a judgment and His justice will be rendered perfectly unto all who have rejected Him. Those who have never repented of their sins and acknowledged His Holiness and their need of Him will face Jesus Christ as their Judge. Those who have never received Jesus Christ and surrendered to Him on His terms will bow to GOD in His righteous anger and justice. Those who have never been forgiven and redeemed, not as a license to sin all we want, but as liberty to live in and through Him who is our life, will suffer the second death. GOD is long-suffering, but He is also righteous and Holy, and must punish sin by death. We can never pay for our own, but Christ has already paid the penalty for sin, the just for the unjust, that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in Him.

The message of Hope we have is the only message which will save. Only Christ can redeem, only Jesus can deliver the lost, only GOD can forgive all sin and make us new creatures in Him, to have His abundant and everlasting life. The love of GOD constrains us to go and tell all who will hear of His love for all, commended to us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We live in Him, to serve Him, and meet the needs of those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are His workmanship, loving one another in fellowship as we disciple all believers in His Word, and do His will and accomplish His work in this broken and sinful world. We go with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, where He sends us to proclaim to this lost and dying world the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe that He is the Christ, the Son of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. How long will it be ere ye make an end of words?

Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. (Job 18:5-8)
Once again Bildad chimes in, and gives an incorrect application and horribly comfortless opinion of GOD'S judgment upon the wicked and concluding that Job must be wicked. He has no regard for GOD'S sovereignty or our free will, or the fact that often the wicked seem to prosper in this life, though that prosperity is temporary, and certainly does not extend into the next. Bildad, because he had no knowledge of the test and trial Job was undergoing, totally disregarded GOD's justice and timing, which is not ours, since His ways are above our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. GOD is Holy and Just, and will punish those who disobey Him, and often times will do so in while they are on the earth. He also chastises His own, to bring them closer or back to a right relationship with Him.

Bildad was partially right in that, some who are wicked are judged and punished in this life. Often emotionally and psychologically, if their consciences aren't seared and scarred, they fear that judgment and punishment, not usually from GOD, but from the authorities, or from others more wicked than they are. It will come, but it may not happen while they are living. When they die in their trespasses and sins, having rejected their Creator who would have redeemed them from their sins if they had repented and believed in Jesus Christ and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, they will face Him as their Judge and receive the recompense of their reward for their sins and iniquity. There will be no mercy or grace then, for the time of GOD's wrath will be at hand.

We who are born again from above, having been made new creatures in Christ by His blood and power, are no longer to live in our self-righteousness, but live the life in Him which He equips and empowers us to live. We are to glorify Him in all we say and do, and lift Him up before others that they might see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are not to seek our own way, or follow man's vision and the world's methods, but being transformed by the renewing of our mind through the Spirit and the Word of GOD, fully surrendered to Him who alone is worthy of our obedience and worship.

We are called to serve Him in ministry, with the Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, as we minister to those around us who are hurting and serve those who are in need. We are commanded to love one another as He loved us and gave Himself for us, and we are to disciple one another in His Word, speaking the Truth in love, that we may grow up into Him in all things, which is the Head, even Christ. We are commissioned as witnesses unto Him who is our life to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word of GOD to this lost and dying world, and as we go in the power of the Holy Spirit proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe that He is the Christ, the Son of GOD, might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Shew me wherefore Thou contendest with me

4/12/2016

Are Thy days as the days of man? are Thy years as man's days, That Thou enquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin? Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of Thine hand. Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet Thou dost destroy me. Remember, I beseech thee, that Thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt Thou bring me into dust again? (Job 10:5-9)
GOD is not like us, nor are His ways and thoughts like ours. He is outside of time, for He created time, and He is eternal. He is without error or sin, for He is Holy and just. He is all knowing and all powerful, however, there are things He allows and directs, for our correcting or testing, which seem on the surface to be outside His character and nature, but bring about His purposes of conforming us to His image. He also, while still in control for He is Sovereign, allows many things to happen without direct involvement in this broken and dying world. That is not to say that He cannot direct such things, or that any thing that happens is not because He is accomplishing His plans, ways, and purposes, but it is to acknowledge that while He is Lord everything that occurs is not a directed act of GOD in this sinful and broken world suffering under the curse of sin which man brought upon himself.

GOD can and does test us, and can remove us from this world at His discretion, for He is Lord of all. The bigger reality is that death has come upon all men, as a result of Adam's sin, because all men sin. GOD has already judged sin and this world and without Christ all are already under condemnation for sin. But Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, came as a man, lived a sinless life in complete obedience to the Father, even to the Cross, and paid our sin debt as a perfect and holy sacrifice for all sin and a ransom for many. All those that recognize and acknowledge their sin before GOD, repent of that sin and turn to GOD and His mercy, and receive Jesus Christ by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for Salvation are made new creatures in Christ, their sins removed, not just covered as Job's were, but as far as the east is from the west removed. That is not a license to sin, but victory and redemption in and through Christ Jesus our Lord.

GOD wants all of His people to live that victorious life in Him, forgiven and freed from sin, that we might accomplish His will and do His work while we are strangers in this world and His ambassadors to it. We are called to minister to others around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of righteousness and reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, that they may see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are commanded to love one another and to disciple one another in His Word that we might grow thereby and all come into the full measure of Him who first loved us. We are commissioned to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit wherever He sends us, and as we go in obedience to Him proclaim the Good News of forgiveness of sin through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son that those who believe that He is the Christ might have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. How much less shall I answer Him

4/11/2016

I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with GOD? If he will contend with Him, he cannot answer Him one of a thousand. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against Him, and hath prospered?
For He is not a man, as I am, that I should answer Him, and we should come together in judgment. Neither is there any Daysman betwixt us, that might lay His hand upon us both. Let Him take His rod away from me, and let not His fear terrify me: (Job 9:2-4, 32-34)
GOD is so much higher, holier, just, and righteous than man, apart from a saving relationship with Christ could ever be. Job understood much of the separation between our mighty GOD and our inadequacies and failures. Without our advocate with GOD the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, The Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, who became a man that He might bring us to GOD through repentance and reconcile us to the Father by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, we would have to face our Judge in our sins and already guilty.

Job knew he did not measure up to the Almighty, but also knew his sins were covered and he was righteous. Not self-righteous, but having met GOD'S requirements for sin and righteousness He was pardoned by his faith in GOD. Without Christ we cannot answer GOD, nor could we hope to contend with Him who is all-knowing and all-powerful. His ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. If He had not revealed Himself to us through His Word we would only know through His creation that He exists, but could not comprehend our Creator, Redeemer, and King. He has revealed His nature and character in His Holy Word that we might know Him and turn to Him in repentance and faith for Salvation and the covenant relationship with Him that He offers to us, having already paid the price for sin we cannot pay.

The daysman or intermediary between GOD and man has come, when GOD sent His only begotten Son into the world, not to condemn it for it was already condemned, but to deliver all who will receive Him from the sin and into fellowship with Jesus Christ. That is the message of hope GOD has given us, His church, His people, His body, to go and tell to all who will hear and believe, not just agreeing with the facts, but in true repentance and trust in Him and Him alone. GOD has called His people to go, as ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD which is within us, to go with the Word of reconciliation, rightly divided and fitly spoken, and minister to those around us who are hurting and in need. GOD has commanded His children to love one another and to disciple one another in His Word that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord. GOD has commissioned His church to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, that they might know the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son and in believing that He is the Christ, the Messiah, The Daysman, they might have life in His Name.

Seeing Him who is invisible

2/26/2016

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: GOD having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. (Heb 11:1,6,39-40)
Faith: trust and belief in what cannot be seen or what has not yet arrived. Our faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of GOD, which is given by inspiration of GOD, who cannot lie, who is Holy, Pure, Perfect, Righteous, and True. His Word, which tells us of Him and His interaction with His people and the peoples of this broken and dying world, from creation to the consummation of all things, is a reflection of Himself. The Scriptures which cannot be broken are holy, pure, perfect, righteous, and true, from Genesis to Revelation and He has magnified His Word above even His Name.

It reveals Christ to us, slain from the foundation of the world, to pay for the rebellion and sin of all mankind, and redeemed those who surrender to Him on His terms and put their trust in Him through repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary from their sin, and who is the soon returning Judge and King, who will judge all those who have not believed in Him and rule this earth for a thousand years.

In this faith Hall of Fame, from Abel to Zechariah, The Spirit, through the author, rehearses the faith of those who believed that the Great I AM was their Saviour, the coming Messiah, who would redeem them from their sin, and bring them to Himself. Their acts of faith are an example for us to continue, to not be weary in well doing, but to endure, to persevere, not because we can lose what GOD has given us by His grace, but because of Him who is faithful to us, and will give us not what we deserve, but what He has promised by His mercy and through His Word.

Built upon this foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, He has brought His people into Himself, a body and a building, a living organism, each of us as lively stones fitly placed according to His will, that we might serve Him. We are called to be His priests and ambassadors, as representatives of His Kingdom, with the Word of reconciliation ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need. We are commanded to love others, to love one another as He loved us, and to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may grow thereby and be conformed to the image of His Son. We are commissioned into His army of witnesses, testifying by faith of the GOD whom we have met, and taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to all we meet, and as we go where He sends us, proclaiming the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father through repentance and faith in Him that those who believe might have life in His Name.

It is Finished and Jesus has won the Victory

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us: Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto Salvation. (Heb 9:24-28)
The sacrifice in the flesh of the body of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ was done once for all and is sufficient and final, never to be repeated. He paid our sin price completely and perfectly when He offered Himself in our place, to pay our sin debt, and to redeem us from the Law, from sIn, and from the grave. He was without sIn, and satisfied the Father's wrath with the shedding of His blood on that tree in humble obedience to the Law and to His Father's will. He lives, having overcome sin and the grave, and sits at the right hand of the Majesty on High, ever living to intercede for His own until He comes back to judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His Kingdom.

That shed blood sprinkled on the mercy seat in Heaven is available to all who will receive it by faith and repentance, not as a license to keep on sinning or to do what we want, for Christ is not the minister of sin, but of righteousness and holiness for those who come to Him on His terms. Because of His righteousness, when we receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary in our place and repentance of our sins, we who are dead in our trespasses and sins are made alive in Christ and born again. Because of His sacrifice for the sins of the world, slain from the foundation, we who are saved and resurrected with Him are to walk in Him in newness of life, a new creature in Christ, redeemed, made whole, and cleansed to live His life in this world until He brings us Home to be with Him.

The abundant life we now live in Him and through Him is a life of service, not to get or keep any thing He has given us by His grace, but because of His mercy and love we obey Him. We serve as His ambassadors in ministry and with the Word of reconciliation, serving and ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We serve one another as we disciple and fellowship together, equipping the saints and edifying the believers until we are all conformed to His image through His Word. We serve as His witnesses, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as we go in the power of the Holy Spirit where and when He sends us to share the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father that those who hear and believe in Him might have life in His Name.
