Be followers of that which is good

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (1Pe 3:8-12)
     For those who are truly in Christ, He calls us to holiness and righteousness, not in our own strength, but in Him and through Him. His Spirit within us guides us into all Truth, and prompts in the way we should go to do His will and accomplish His work in this broken and dying world. As we sojourn here, as soldiers and ambassadors in a foreign country, looking for that city whose builder and maker is GOD, we must do so in meekness, a quiet strength which rests in Him who is our rest, and fear, the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. We are to be like Him in all respects, living His life by faith and obedience to His Word that we may glorify our GOD in all things, and others may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory.

      When trouble comes, and it will, whether from the natural calamities of this world, or from those who oppose GOD and GOD'S people, we are not to strive against the foolish rants and childish taunts of those who do not know GOD, those who have a zeal of God but not according to knowledge, or those who follow some other god and think they are doing right when they are in darkness and dead in their trespasses and sins. We must remember, and prayerfully seek to win them to Christ by our love both in word as we give an answer to every man that asketh us a reason of the hope that is within us, and in His works of righteousness which He has ordained that we should walk in them; that they may repent and receive His great Salvation by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

     GOD'S people are to love Him completely, with all of our being, in worship and fellowship, as we love others as ourselves, ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need. The Church of GOD is called and commanded to make disciples, loving one another as we encourage and equip the saints in the work of the ministry and edify the body of Christ. Those who have received Him by grace through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and been born again are to go in the power of the Holy Spirit and as we go, take the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father to all who will hear that they might believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of GOD and in believing have life in His Name.

    For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

The salvation of your souls

Blessed be the GOD and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in Heaven for you, who are kept by the power of GOD through faith unto Salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (1Pe 1:3-7)
      Peter begins his epistle with a message of hope and encouragement to believers that our redemption by GOD is not through our own efforts, will not fade away, and though we will go through many trials during our sojourn here, GOD knows that He will bring us through, conformed to the image of His dear Son, for good and for His Glory. Our eternity with Him is sealed by Him, and His Spirit within is the earnest of our Redemption. The trials are temporary, but our GOD and our relationship with Him through repentance and faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary is eternal and ever lasting.

      Those not yet in Christ still have an opportunity to receive Christ by faith unto eternal life, for GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the acknowledging of the Truth. GOD loves you, and while His foreknowledge means He knows who are His, His grace and mercy extends to all who will repent and believe in Him. He will not force any one to be born again, but all who reject His great Salvation will be for ever separated from the only true GOD and from His Son, Jesus Christ, whom He sent to be the Saviour of the world. GOD the Son who is the Son of GOD became a man and went humbly and willingly to that cruel Roman cross that we might have life and have it more abundantly in Him who is our life.

      When He shall appear, we who are His will receive the final aspect of GOD's plan of redemption, the glorification of His people, not that we become gods, but that we are made new in our bodies, just as He made us new in our spirits, and is making all things new in our souls. Until that day we are to continue in Him, trusting in Him who is our rest, and serving all those He sends us to as ministers of reconciliation and ambassadors of His Kingdom. We are to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, with the Word of reconciliation rightly divided and fitly spoken that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We are to love one another, fellowship together as we accomplish His work, and disciple one another as we grow in Him into the full measure of Him with whom we have to do. We are to testify of Him with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Ghost until all have heard the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in Him, that in believing they might have life in His Name.

    For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Thy Throne, O GOD, is for ever and ever

GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His Glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than they. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son? (Heb 1:1-5)
     We once again turn our attention to the New Testament, this time in the general epistle to the Hebrews. We will take our journey through the Scriptures and see that the author wants us to see that Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, is so much better than anything else man looks to for spirituality, Salvation, and solace in this life. This first section compares the living Lord to the angels, who are His ministers, and while they are sons of GOD in the created sense, as we are in the adopted sense, none of them are The Son of GOD, the only begotten of the Father, the Word made flesh, the Creator of all things, even the angels. He is one with the Father and the Spirit, and He is worthy of all praise, for He satisfied our sIn debt when He humbled Himself and took our place, paying the price for sIn we cannot pay and redeeming us from sIn, death, and the grave.

      GOD calls all who will, to repent and receive Jesus Christ, by faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. All who are not in Christ by His grace must turn from their sIn, which He, the righteous Judge has already condemned, and turn to GOD for forgiveness and Salvation. All who are secure in His grace and mercy, as new creatures in Christ, must live lives of holiness and righteousness, not our own for ours is as filthy rags, but He in us, through the Spirit that indwells us, and His Word which empowers and equips us, reckoning ourselves to be dead, to the Law, to sIn, and to this lost and dying world, and living by faith and not by sight.

     GOD calls all who have come to Him and received Jesus Christ to serve Him, His ambassadors and ministers of righteousness to those around us who are hurting and in need as GOD provides, that they may see our good works and glorify our Heavenly Father.  He commands us to love one another as members of His body and to disciple one another in the Word of GOD until we have all grown into the full measure of Him who first loved us, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has commissioned us as His witnesses to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, telling all who will hear the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit that they may believe, and in believing have life in His Name.

     For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Handfuls of purpose

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD GOD of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust. Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens. And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. (Rth 2:11-14)
     The account of Ruth continues as we meet Boaz, the son of Salmon and Rahab. GOD's unfolding plan of grace, leading to David and to our Lord, continues in the plans and purposes He has for Ruth. He leads her to the field of a near kinsman, who can lawfully restore her land and property, as well as raise up seed and restore her inheritance. This beginning here in the fields of Bethlehem, shows Ruth the compassion and generosity of Boaz, and Boaz begins to see her determination and character. Boaz blesses her, and takes her under his protection and providence.

      GOD, who became our kinsman that He might redeem us from death and sIn, has taken those us who have received His free gift of Salvation through repentance and our faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, out of darkness and into His marvellous light. No more strangers and enemies of GOD, He has made us one with Him, not in the divine sense, for we do not become gods, but in relationship and fellowship with our Creator, Redeemer, and King. He now protects us in accordance with His will, not necessarily from all that may happen in this world, nor from the consequences of our own will, but we are secure in His hands as He provides all our needs according to the riches of His grace.

     He has saved us to His service, delivered from sin to live unto righteousness. He has called us to minister, as His ambassadors to this broken and dying world, serving and ministering to those around us who are hurting and in need, as He provides. He has commanded us to love one another and to disciple one another in His Word as we fellowship together as members of His body and grow into the full measure of Him. He has commissioned us into His army, soldiers of Christ to witness of Him under His command with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and as we go, in the power of the indwelling Spirit, taking the Good News of repentance and reconciliation with the Father to every one we meet that they might believe and in believing have life in His Name.

     For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. O LORD GOD of Israel

And the people came to the House of GOD, and abode there till even before GOD, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore; And said, O LORD GOD of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel? And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance. In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes. (Jdg 21:2-4, 24-25)
     The accounts of the time of the Judges ends with this bizarre tale of how Israel restored the tribe of Benjamin after the punishment GOD handed out for their grievous sin. Though they come together at the House of GOD to inquire of the Lord, the account ends with all returning to their places and homes, and doing what was right in their own eyes. Once the 'crisis' was averted and solved, every man returned to following himself, instead of the Lord GOD of Israel.

    Our sIn problem means that without the life changing new birth by the Spirit of GOD when we repent, acknowledging our sIn, and trust in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, we are spiritually dead. Those who are not in Christ, cannot follow the ways of GOD, nor can they understand them, for they are spiritually discerned. Those of us who are regenerated by the grace and mercy of our Lord and Saviour, and have received by faith His free gift of Salvation, have His righteousness, and are resurrected into a brand new life of sanctification and works meet for repentance which glorify Him as He works in us to do His will.

     His Church, unlike the people of Israel in those days, have the Spirit of GOD within us to empower us, to guide us into all Truth through His Word, and to lead us in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake as we serve Him. He calls us to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need as He provides, as His ambassadors, with the Word of comfort, peace, and reconciliation. He commands us to love one another as He loves us, and to disciple one another in the Word and through the Spirit that we may be conformed to the image of His dear Son. He has commissioned us as His witnesses to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, and as we go, share the Good News with all we encounter that they might repent and believe in Him and have life in His Name.

       For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. The land was subdued before them

And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD GOD of your fathers hath given you? Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me. And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north. Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our GOD. But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them. (Jos 18:3-7)
      Having conquered most of the land, and removed or subjugated the peoples which were in the promised land, at the direction of GOD, Joshua now turns to the division of the land by tribes. He had completed the division which Moses started on the other side of Jordan, and now had to establish the area for each tribe. Joshua knew and trusted that GOD would guide the lot and division so that each tribe of Israel would be given the parcel that GOD had determined for them exactly as He wanted it to be. He sent out men to survey the land for division into the parts for each tribe, other than the Levites, for they worked in the Temple and received from the people and their offerings, rather than from the land and so had no inheritance or possession other than the Lord.

      GOD's people are to trust Him and following the Word and the Spirit to remove that which sin in their lives, we are to take possession and wholly live the Christian life in, through, and for Christ, who lives within us. We are to be holy for He is holy, we are to lay aside every weight and the sIn which doth so easily beset us. We are to grow in Him, putting every idle thought, vain imagination, and stronghold of the mind under His victory, surrendered to Him on His terms, and transformed by the renewing of our minds through the engrafted Word of GOD. We are to hold fast to our profession, walking worthy of the vocation where He has called us, and glorifying our GOD in all things, for He alone is worthy.

      He has called us to minister to others, taking the Word of reconciliation as His ambassadors to those around us who are hurting and in need, that they might know Him and see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. He has commanded us to love one another as we grow in His Word and disciple one another, conformed to the image of His Son. He has commissioned us to witness, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, and as we go, sharing the Gospel to all who will hear that they might repent of their sins and believe in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary and receive eternal life in His Name.

     For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. They shall be snares and traps unto you

As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land. Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out. (Jos 15:63, 16:10, 17:12-13)
      Joshua and the Israelites failed to remove some of the enemies of GOD that abided in Canaan, either because of sIn which caused them to falter before their foes, or a lack of faith, which led to them being overcome or not even attempting to drive them out, or because they were deceived and made a league with them and allowed them to stay in the land. These inhabitants, which GOD had already judged, but Israel couldn't or wouldn't remove, would make both political and spiritual trouble for the Israelites the rest of their days, and some of their descendants still oppose GOD and the Jews today.

      Those that oppose GOD, many not even realizing the war they are in, are not to be left thinking there is a neutral position. Every person is born a sinner, and therefore the enemy of GOD, but GOD gave Himself for our sins, that we might be reconciled to GOD, and no more strangers and enemies, but adopted into the family of faith, and restored to a right relationship to GOD through repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. GOD loves all, even His enemies, because He is our Creator, and is not willing that any should depart this world without Him and be destined to a devil's Hell. We are not to compromise with those who are enemies of GOD or with their doctrine, but proclaim the Truth in love and stand strong in the Lord, with the victory that He has already won.

       He wants His people to share Him with all we meet, in missions, ministry, and discipleship with the Good News of Salvation and the Word of reconciliation. We are His ambassadors, called to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, that they may come to know Him through us. We are His disciples, commanded to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may all grow into the full measure of Him, conformed to the image of His Son. We are His witnesses, commissioned to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word of GOD to this lost and dying world, and as we go, telling all who will hear of forgiveness of sin through repentance, and reconciliation with GOD through faith in Him and Him alone that those who believe might have life in His Name.

     For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the the Truth. Whatever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing GOD: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (Col 3:18-25)
     Our relationships and interactions must always be one of respect and love in the Lord. Loving one another and treating others as we want to be treated, whether our spouse, our family, our coworkers and those in authority over us, and all to the Glory of GOD. For those in Christ, we shall not be judged for our sins, but we shall rewarded and suffer loss for that which we have done in and for Christ. If we look to the eternal in our relationships and in whatever interactions we have with others, He is glorified and exalted in our obedience to His Word.

     GOD wants us to serve Him and Glorify Him who is our being in all that we do. Wives submit to their husbands as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands love our wives as He loved the Church and gave Himself for it. Children obey in the Lord in all things, as The Son of GOD who is GOD the Son obeyed His Father. Fathers discipline in love as our Heavenly Father chastises us. Workers obey the boss here because our Heavenly Master will reward our service to Him. GOD will reward those who obey Him, but we do so, not because it pleases Him, but because of our love for Him who loved us, and gave Himself for us and our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

     For those who are born again, we serve Him not to gain Heaven or keep that which GOD has given by grace through faith and repentance, but in obedience to Him and faith in His Word which teaches us of Him. We serve others around us as He directs and provides, ministering to those who are hurting and in need, that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We serve one another in love and disciple one another in His Word through the Spirit of GOD who indwells those who are His until all have grown to the full measure of Him, conformed to the image of His dear Son. We go with one another in the power of the Holy Spirit and with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, and as we go we tell all who will hear of reconciliation with the Father and the Good News of forgiveness that He has paid for, that those who repent and believe might have life in His Name.

     For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. If we be dead with Him we shall also live with Him

Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of GOD, who hath raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His Cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Col 2:12-17)
     Before Christ we were dead in sin, a descendant of Adam and worthy of death. In Christ we are made alive, a child of GOD, and by His mercy pardoned, not to sin more, but to live in His righteousness. In our former life, which we now reckon as dead, we were alienated and at war with GOD. Now we who are risen with Christ, as demonstrated by the baptismal ceremony, and are adopted into His family and reconciled with the GOD who is our Creator, our Redeemer, and our King.

     The Law which points out our trespasses and informs us of our sins and transgressions of the Law cannot save us, no matter how perfect we may try to keep it, which we cannot do. The commandments and ordinances which GOD gave His people, whether Noah, Abraham, or Moses and the Israelites cannot make us right with GOD, but was given to bring us to the place where we recognize we cannot be righteous apart from GOD, and our need of Him to save us. Only our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary leads to life eternal. When we changed our mind about ourselves, and GOD, and turned to Him in repentance and surrender on His Terms, then by His power and because of His grace, mercy, and love we were born again from above.

     In Him we are not bound to any particular Law or rules, but in have liberty and with responsibility to one another, we live the righteous life we were meant to live. We don't live our own lives, for we are dead, but out of love for our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we walk in the Spirit that indwells us, and remain in Him and He in us, to do His will and continue in obedience to His Word as He conforms us the image of His dear Son. We are now members of His Kingdom and it is He that works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure as the members of His body while we are here in, but not of, this sinful and dying world.

     While we are here, we are to be His ministers, reaching others who are hurting and in need to meet their needs as GOD provides and share the Gospel. We are to love one another as He loved us, and gave Himself for us as we grow in Him and disciple one another in His Word. As we go where He sends us, we are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, that all who hear and believe the Good News from His Word with faith and repentance might have life in His Name.

      For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

In Christ are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge

And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the Spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power: (Col 2:4-10)
     Not only should our faith be grounded in Christ and His Word, so should our thoughts, words, and deeds. We should not be influenced by the imaginations of those who don't know the Word of GOD, nor following after those who are led by the course of this world, and not by Christ. We are to have the mind of Christ who is our Head, looking unto Him who is the author and finisher of our faith. We have the Spirit of GOD, by our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary and are to be no more children, tossed about by every wind of doctrine. The Spirit who guides us and teaches us all Truth through His Word and we are to think GOD's thoughts after Him.

     We can be secure in our relationship with Him, for He is our strength. We are kept by His power through faith unto Salvation, not to continue in sIn, or to walk in our old ways, but to live in Him whom we have our being, and through Him who is our life. We who are born again were made new creatures in Christ the moment we believed, justified to live in His righteousness, not our own flesh, and unto holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. He began a good work of sanctification in us which He will perform until the Day of Jesus Christ when He takes us Home to be with Him and we are glorified, not deified, but new bodies changed from the tabernacle we now abide in and ever present with the Lord of Glory.

     Until that Day, His Church is to be on mission for our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, who is our Salvation. We are His ambassadors, representing His Kingdom until He returns and establishes His rule on this earth. We are to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need, as GOD gives the increase. We are to love one another as He loved us while we disciple one another in the Word of GOD as members one of another, growing up into Him and being conformed, not to this world, but to the image of His dear Son, taking every thought captive and tearing down the strongholds of false doctrine, reproving and correcting our thoughts and actions, and instructing us in righteousness. We are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Word of GOD, ready always to give an answer to every man of the hope that is in us with meekness and fear, that those who hear the Good News of reconciliation with GOD may repent and believe, trusting Him and having life in His Name.
