Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem: And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about. Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. (Ezekiel 4:1-3)
GOD's destruction of this world because of sIn, is just as sure as the destruction of Jerusalem. One day, when He has had enough and all those that will be saved have entered into the Kingdom of GOD, GOD will make this world new, and all those that rejected GOD will be cast aside. It is as sure as what GOD has said already, the only question is your destination.
The true Church may be safe and secure in the arms of GOD, but its members will be judged for what they did in Christ and for Christ. If you are not obedient to the Gospel, and making your calling and election sure (not keeping it by works, but working for Him because your kept) then I would recommend a long talk with Jesus about your salvation. He said to work out your salvation (you can't develop what you don't have) and walk worthy of the Gospel in which you were called (if indeed you were.)
If you are not a part of GOD's family, or not sure of your Salvation; GOD tells you that you must be born again, and receive by faith in His finished work on the Cross of Calvary a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He is not willing that you should perish, but wants you to surrender to Him on His terms and believe His Word today.
Whatever GOD has told you, be obedient to Him.
In Christ,
