When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (Mat 25:31-34)
While directed at a future time, this passage also teaches us about service. Our Lord expects us to minister to one another, and to those without, in order to share His love with others, and be His ambassadors to this lost and dying world. Being secure in His arms, we are already His sheep, and we hear His voice through the Spirit and the Word, and observe to do according to all that is written therein. But our rewards will come at the Judgment seat of Christ, when our works for GOD are judged, not for Salvation, for we cannot earn or keep that through our works, but for our obedience to our Lord's will and work.
That will occur before this world enters into the Tribulation, and those of us who have believed in Him, and trust in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, as His witnesses will observe those events, just as John did. But we will not fight, for our race will be done, but we will be with Him, just as He promised, when He calls us Home to Himself. Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in us will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ.
Until that day, in obedience to our Lord, we as His servants, and lifting up our Lord, that He may draw all men unto Himself, we minister to those who are hurting and in need. We love one another, and disciple one another in the Word that we may grow thereby, and that all may know that we are His disciples. We are commanded to go with the Gospel and teach all nations. As we go, we are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ that those who hear and believe may have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
