Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. The peace that passes understanding, the peace of GOD in our hearts because our minds are filled with the Word of GOD. When our foundation and worldview are that of Christ, and His Word we can be at peace despite the economic, political and social storms that are raging around us. We know that GOD is in control, we have the assurance that He will never leave us or forsake us, we have faith in Jesus Christ as our saviour, provider, and Lord.
That doesn't mean we won't have trouble in this world, or that we won't experience sickness or disease, or that nothing will affect us as we sojourn here on this earth. It just means that with GOD we can go through anything He wills or allows us to experience, and He will be with us where ever He sends us. And one day, He will bring those of us who are truly His Home to be with Him.
Governments that forget GOD will be brought down. Religions that deny GOD or pervert His Word will be judged. Moral, social, and other systems that aren't based on GOD's Word will fail for they have no firm foundation. All that which is not firmly planted on the solid rock of Christ will, sooner of later, come crashing down; because the Truth will expose their falsehoods, because GOD is the Judge of all things, and because they have a shifting foundation.
Those that are in denial of their need of Jesus Christ, or have rejected Him as their Saviour and Lord are also weighed and judged. GOD has already condemned all who are not secure in Christ to His justice. But GOD, is not willing that any should perish, and calls everyone to repent, to surrender to Him on His terms. Jesus Christ offers you the free gift of salvation. Receive Him by faith today.
Trust Him, Believe His Word, and share the Hope of Jesus Christ with others you meet.
