The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory. Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship Him, all ye gods. Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Thy judgments, O LORD. For Thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: Thou art exalted far above all gods. (Psalms 97:5-9)
We worship and celebrate our Holy GOD, for who He is and what He has done. He is our Creator, and even though our rebellion and sIn has marred His perfect creation, He still cares and preserves His creation. He is our redeemer, to deliver us from our sIn, which we cannot do ourselves, through His willing obedience to the death on that cruel Roman cross. He is our Lord and King, who will return not only for us, but to rule and reign over this whole earth after judging His enemies and all those that reject His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.
All other 'gods' are idols, whether they are carved by hand or in our minds, and we must repent of this false worship of that which is not GOD. We are to turn from ourselves and turn to our Righteous and Holy Father, surrendering to Him on His terms, just as we did for Salvation and GOD will forgive those that truly come to Him. He will chastise His own, but will restore those of a contrite heart to proper fellowship with Him and we can rejoice in His love, mercy and grace.
But those that don't know Him, only know judgment, for they are under condemnation for their sIn. We are to tell them the Good News that Jesus died for them, and rose that they might have eternal life. We are compelled by His love for us to share Him with all those we meet that they too might look to Him and live.
For, GOD is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. The Truth that Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe in Him by faith in His Word, and be born again. Receive Him by faith and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship that is abundant and everlasting. Fear His judgment and place your trust in Him for Salvation today.
