And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the Law, as under the Law, that I might gain them that are under the Law; To them that are without Law, as without Law, (being not without Law to GOD, but under the Law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without Law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the Gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. The Christian who desires to win the lost to Christ and make disciples, and we should for we are commanded to by our Lord, must at times understand and immerse themselves in the culture of those we are witnessing to, without sIn or compromise of the Gospel and GOD's Word. If our understanding of being separate from the world and holy means we never associate with lost people, we will never have opportunities to witness of the love and power of GOD. We must respect and appreciate where people are in order to earn the right to be heard, and speak the Truth in love into every situation without beating people up with the Gospel we preach.
While we are called to be holy, for He is Holy, lost people cannot understand the things of GOD for they are spiritually discerned. Nor should we expect lost people to do the things which GOD commands, for they are lost and separated from the Kingdom and family of GOD. In order for GOD to cleanse them and bring them into a right relationship with Himself, they must first repent, believe in Jesus Christ, and be born again from above by the power of GOD. Lost people, apart from GOD, and dead in their trespasses and sins will do lost people things, and being already under condemnation for their sIn, don't need our judgment (though we judge and declare sIn for what it is), but our love, mercy and grace that they may see Christ in us and believe our testimony of what GOD has done in and for us.
That is our command and commission, while we are here on this earth, as ministers of the Word of reconciliation and His ambassadors. We are to meet people where they are, and minister to their needs as GOD gives the increase, for He is our provider. We are to disciple one another in His Word that we may grow thereby and love one another so that all may know that we are His disciples. As we go wherever He sends us to make disciples, we are to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that those who hear the Good News and believe in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
