For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the Truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the Truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in Truth. Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a Godly sort, thou shalt do well: Because that for His Name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the Truth. (3Jn 1:3-8)
GOD's people are to guard the Truth, stay in the Truth, and walk in the Truth. GOD's Word is Truth. We hide its Words in our heart that we might not sIn against GOD, we meditate on its precepts as we go on our way with and in Him, we study it to shew ourselves approved unto GOD rightly dividing its books, we read its pages to know and hear from our Lord, and hear its words that we might observe to do all He commands. It is His message to us, full of grace and Truth, that we might grow from its milk, live on its bread, digest its meat, and savour its honey. We stand strong on its promises, wield it as our proven sword against the attacks of the enemy, hold fast to its sure foundation in the storms of life, proclaim its Gospel to the nations, and rest in its testimonies of our GOD.
We disciple one another from its statutes and judgments, growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust its precepts and commands because it speaks of Him, whom we have trusted to save to the uttermost because of His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. We proclaim its Truth and the Good News of Jesus Christ to all we encounter that they may repent of their sIns and receive His great Salvation. We live and work by its commands through the Spirit that empowers us and lives within to work both to do and to will of His good pleasure. We love one another, as Christ first loved us, and fellowship in the unity of the Spirit, ministering to those within and without, until He is done with us and brings us Home to be with Him.
Standing on the Truth of the Word of GOD, we minister as His ambassadors to those who are hurting and in need. Safe and secure in the promises of GOD, not to continue in sIn, but to live in the glorious liberty of the children of GOD, we encourage and edify the body of Christ, of whom we are members in particular. Saved from sIn by the washing of the Word and our repentance and faith, we go, and as we go, we preach the Word, that all may know of Him and believe His enduring Word, hear the Gospel and believe the Good News in repentance from sIn and faith toward GOD and our Lord Jesus Christ and have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
