Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of GOD, GOD dwelleth in him, and he in GOD. And we have known and believed the love that GOD hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in GOD, and GOD in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. (1Jn 4:13-17)
The Spirit of GOD within a believer empowers us to live holy lives that glorify GOD, guides us into all Truth from His Word, emboldens us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around us, and comforts us in times of trial until the day when He takes us Home.
In this unique 'Church age' GOD has willed that the Spirit of GOD dwells within every true child of GOD. The moment we surrendered to GOD on His terms and received Him by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, He resurrected our spirit with His Spirit and dwelt within us. A unique and everlasting covenant relationship with His own that gives us power, eternal life, witness and direction.
We who are His, empowered and guided by the Spirit, are to take His message of love, grace, and mercy to this lost and dying world. We must lift Jesus Christ up as the Saviour of the world so that they might believe and be born again. We are commanded, and the Spirit prompts us to obey, to go and preach the Word to every creature. GOD's love is demonstrated on the Cross, and with the sending of His messengers to those that don't know Him and need to hear the message of the Cross.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with Him that is real and personal. Believe His Word and receive Him by faith in what He has done to pay for your sIn on that cruel Roman cross. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son calls you to trust Him for Salvation today.
