And GOD said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And GOD created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and GOD saw that it was good. And GOD blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. (Gen 1:20-23)
All the abundant kinds of life in the seas and in the air; fish and fowl, mammal and 'monster' (they were tame and vegetarian at this time) were created on this day. GOD who is greater than them all, commanded them to be fruitful and multiply to fill the seas He separated from the dry land, and the air he put in place for them. Now the world is beginning to come alive with movement and sounds, from great whales to tiny songbirds, all in praise of their creator. All leading up to His grand finale of creation: the unique creation of one in His image, who would have dominion over all the others.
Those of us who are born again by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary are waiting for the restoration of that perfect world. That time in the future when there is no more sIn and all is once again as it was. Until that day, we are commanded to tell everyone we meet of His works, His ways, His will, and His Word. To proclaim to all of who He is, what He has done, and what He is going to do. To tell everyone of the mercy, love and grace of GOD to this lost and dying world that has been judged because of sIn, and the forgiveness and reconciliation that is offered to those that put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We are to share His Good News so that those that hear might believe, and believing have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Trust Him and His Word and surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Receive the creator GOD who commands great whales and sea monsters by faith in what He did for you on that cruel Roman cross and the Salvation he has already paid for.
