I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the Word of GOD abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of GOD abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. We love GOD because He first loved us, and we are to look to Him, not the things of this world. The things of this world will not last or satisfy; no matter what we think we want or have to have, or how good we think it will be to do, if it is not of GOD it will disappoint us, or hurt us, or even leave us wanting more. Our enemy wants to steal our joy, kill our proper relationships, and destroy our testimony. Jesus came to give us life, and to let us live in Him abundantly, that we might have joy unspeakable and full of glory, a loving relationship with Him that is real and personal, and a testimony of His mercy, grace, and love in Salvation, provision, and care for us as we rest in Him. This world's systems not only try to oppose the Lord Jesus, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, with any thing else, in thought, word, or deed, but also replace Him in those who are seeking Truth and deliverance. He is Truth, and any thing that opposes Him or replaces Him and His Word in our hearts and minds is a lie. We ought to continue in His Word, in fellowship with one another, and in love ministering to those in need, because of who He is, and because of the His great Salvation that comes from our repentance of our sIn, and our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.
We continue in His power, through the indwelling Holy Spirit, to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need as GOD gives the increase. We continue in His love, and in His Word, learning of Him and becoming more like Him as we love the brethren. We continue in His mission, His ambassadors and ministers, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world, that those who hear the Good News and repent, believeing in Him in repentance and faith might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
