Nevertheless I tell you the Truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on Me; Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you. (Joh 16:7-14)
Our guide and comforter is the indwelling Holy Spirit which we received from GOD the moment we repented and believed by the power of GOD. By our faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary we were born again from above and our spirit was resurrected with His Spirit who teaches us through the Word and guides and directs our path to accomplish His will. He convicts us of sIn, for He is righteous. He reproves and corrects when we grieve or quench Him because He is Holy. He judges our motives and thoughts because the Spirit of GOD is GOD the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit speaks to our spirit and brings to mind all things from His Word. He will never teach us any thing nor speak that which contradicts what He has led His faithful servants to speak, write, preserve, and translate so that we would know His Word. He always points people to Christ Jesus our Lord to the glory of GOD the Father. He unites the body of Christ in service and in love, in worship of our Lord and of our Father, and when we surrender ourselves and offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him, He brings out His fruit and bestows His gifts upon us as He wills that we may do His work and will in this world.
The Spirit equips and enables us to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need. He enlightens us in our study of the Word of GOD that we may grow thereby. He encourages us and edifies us in the body of Christ that we may love one another as Christ loved us and worship GOD in Spirit and in Truth. The Holy Ghost empowers us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we engage those around us, that those who hear the Good News from the Word of GOD, and repent and believe, might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
