Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of GOD, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (Joh 4:10-14)
Jesus offers living water, Salvation and the Holy Spirit. to all who will believe in Him. Forgiven and Filled with the Holy Spirit when we repent and trust His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, we are empowered to live for Him and accomplish His work with the Good News of reconciliation with the Father through the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, Jesus Christ.
That living water, flowing through us as streams of mercy and grace, will never leave us dry, though we can quench and grieve it by our sIn. He hath said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He will not fail and cannot lie. He goes before us into the battle which He has already won, and prepares our way. When we trust Him in repentance and surrender, and rely on Him for strength and peace we can overcome because greater is He that is in us, than he that his in this lost and dying world.
We are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit that is in us, which we have of GOD, and tell others of His mercy and grace. We are to minister, as His ambassadors, to those who are hurting and in need that they may know Him through us. We are to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ through His Word, and disciple one another in love until we grow up into the full measure of Christ. We are to take the Good News from GOD's Word and as we go share Him and the living water that those who repent of their sins and believe in Him might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
