Thus saith the LORD, The Heaven is My Throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest? For all those things hath Mine Hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My Word. (Isaiah 66:1-2)
He cannot be contained in houses, or temples but dwells through the Spirit within each believer. Those of us who have trembled before the GOD Almighty, and surrendered to Him on His terms have come to know Jesus Christ, not just as a man in history, but as the GOD-man revealed in Scripture and as He has established His relationship with us, we are becoming more like Him. Because He dwells within, we learn from Him and the pages of His Story, the Word of GOD, of His love, mercy and grace toward all of Creation, and those that He has chosen and those that have received Him.
That is not to say, that only those chosen by GOD are saved from their sIn, for GOD is not willing that any should perish. He wants you to enter, by faith and repentance, into a covenant relationship with Him. If you place your faith in Him, His Word, and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary, He will save you and deliver you to a new life of discipleship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. He loves you enough that He went willingly to pay the penalty for your sIn in your place.
Respond in contrition and obedience to His Word today.
In Christ,
