Be not deceived; GOD is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. (Gal 6:7-10)
GOD is Holy and calls us to be holy. GOD is righteous, and our righteousness is in Him. We are to walk in Him, in Truth and in the Spirit, not fulfilling the desires of the flesh. We are to be His people and reflect who He is as He dwells within those who have surrendered to Him in repentance of their sIn and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. We are to allow Him to live His life in us and live the Name we are called by.
Living as we want is an affront to our righteous and holy GOD, who gave Himself for us, that we might be the righteousness of GOD in Him. We are bought with a price, His precious blood, and He is worthy of our obedience to His Word. The liberty we have in Christ is not a license to sIn. Sin will cost you more than you want to pay, and its wages are death. Sin will keep you from GOD's Word and blind you to your need of Christ. We must repent and look to our Saviour, Jesus Christ for forgiveness and the cleansing He will give to those who call upon His Name.
We are to sow in righteousness, not the weariness of the flesh, but resting in Him and doing the work of GOD through the Spirit of GOD, accomplishing His will here in this sinful and broken world. We are to minister to those around us, as GOD provides, and directs us to those who are hurting and in need, that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We are to disciple one another in the Word and in love so that we may all grow up to the full measure of Jesus Christ. We are to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every one we meet, and as we go, proclaim the Good News of repentance and faith in Him so that those who believe and receive Him by faith might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
