Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy Statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep Thy Law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me to go in the path of Thy Commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto Thy Testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in Thy Way. Stablish Thy Word unto Thy servant, who is devoted to Thy fear. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for Thy Judgments are good. Behold, I have longed after Thy Precepts: quicken me in Thy righteousness. (Psalms 119:33-40)
To endure to the end, secure in His Salvation, taught of Him from His Word, resting in His promises, and relying on His Power and Presence is the goal and purpose of every Christian.
To become more like Him, through the study of His Word, and the teaching of His Holy Spirit is what GOD is doing throughout our new life in Christ. We search the Scriptures for they speak of Him. We study all the Testimonies, and Commands, and Precepts for they all point to Jesus Christ, in who we are, and live, and have our being.
His Word is Life, it is Truth from the first verse to the last, and it shows us the Way, Jesus Christ, the only Way to the Father. Our faith began with the written Word and while receiving the Word made Flesh, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, for eternal Salvation, we continue to increase our faith through the ingrafted Word of GOD.
All else is vain, and will not last. The Word of GOD and those who have received Him, will stand forever with our GOD. Those who have not received His forgiveness for their sIn and have rejected Him will be cast aside in Judgment. We have the Word of Life, we have the Good News of Salvation to those that are lost. We must tell them of His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary for their sIn.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but wants everyone everywhere to repent. Surrender to Him on His terms and be born again to live in Him, and through Him the Life you were meant to live. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Believe His Word and receive His forgiveness of your sIn by faith in Him and His sacrifice in your place and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Trust Jesus Christ, the Only Way, for Life.
