It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us: If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.(2Ti 2:11-16)
In Christ we are dead to ourselves, and resurrected to live in Him and He in us. This is a mystery, but GOD has elected us to be joined with Him in service and His great Salvation. He gives all the opportunity to repent and to be reconciled with Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, and has determined that those who He has placed in the Body of Christ, The Church, would do His work and will in this world. He will save to the uttermost all those who come to him in true repentance and saving faith, surrendering to Him on His terms, and being born again from above. He will sanctify all those that are His, saved by His grace, and conform them to the image of His dear Son.
We are to know Him and grow in our knowledge of Him through His Spirit within to guide us into all Truth, and His Word of Truth which we are to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and then GOD will apply it as we surrender to Him and His Truths. Rightly dividing His Word, we learn and know how He deals with His people throughout all ages, and that He is coming back first for His own, and then to set up His Kingdom here on earth and rule for a thousand years before judging all those who have rejected Him and His rule over them.
Until that day, He calls His people, who are the members of His Church to minister here, as part of His body, to those around us who are hurting and in need, that they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. The Head of the Church has commanded us to love one another as He loved us, and He will disciple His people in His Word through His Church and the members in particular. He has commissioned His saints, all those who are in Christ, to testify of Him with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every one we meet, that those who believe His Good News and repent in faith might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
