Jesus Christ, The Lamb of GOD, Messiah

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. And He bearing His cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified Him, and two other with Him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. (Joh 19:14-20)
Jesus is King, King of kings and Lord of lords, and one day ruling a physical Kingdom here on earth. The Jews rejected His Kingship at this time, so the Kingdom of Heaven is, as prophesied, for a latter time. The incarnate Word of GOD, The Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, came for this purpose, to offer Himself as the Lamb of GOD that taketh away the sins of the world. He bore His Cross for us, to pay our sIn debt, and provide forgiveness and reconciliation to those who repent and believe in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.

He is GOD's Son, who put on flesh and willingly and humbly became obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross, for the joy that was set before Him, despising the shame of being whipped, torn, spat upon, naked, pierced, and finally horribly crucified. His love for all was so great that He bare our sins in His own body on that tree, that we who are dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. His death in our place is not a license to sIn, but liberty to live in and through Him, no longer dead men walking, but resurrected in Him unto life eternal. We live in righteousness, Christ living in us, and the life we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of the Son of GOD who loved us and gave Himself for us.

We live here and now, strangers and pilgrims, soldiers of Christ with all the armour on to stand in the evil day, that we might serve Him, and do His will and work in this lost and dying world. We live in Him to minister as His servants to those who are hurting and in need around us, that they might be warm and filled, not just with this worlds goods, but with the eternal blessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We live in Him to teach as His disciples, loving one another in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace as we through His Word grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We live in Him to witness as His ambassadors, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of GOD to those who will repent and believe, and in believing have life in His Name.

For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.

In Christ,
Jefferson Sweet
