Jesus, GOD in the flesh.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Therefore will He give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of His brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. And He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the Name of the LORD His GOD; and they shall abide: for now shall He be great unto the ends of the earth. (Micah 5:2-4)

This famous passage from the Christmas story not only identifies the birthplace of the Messiah, Jesus Christ; it also verifies the deity of our Lord.  He is not only the deliverer of Israel, but GOD in the flesh, the deliverer of all who repent from the penalty of sIn.  He who will one day rule over the nations, now desires to rule in the hearts of those that will surrender to Him on His terms.  He who will stand and defend His people in their time of travail, will stand as advocate for those that receive Him now.  His Name is Jesus and He is both Lord and Christ.  As the second part of the Tri-Unity, He is the image of the GODhead bodily and will return for His own.  First the Church, that is being prepared and purified; and then for the nation of Israel; a nation that one day will be restored to Him, that is being prepared for His soon return.  

Only those that know Him and have a relationship with Him by faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross will join Him for eternity.  Those today that still live here have an opportunity to repent and receive the free gift that He has already paid for.   He calls all of us to believe, that we might live; live abundantly now, and eternally with Jesus when He returns and sets up His Kingdom.
