I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And ye shall know that I AM the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up Mine hand to give it to your fathers. And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed. And ye shall know that I AM the LORD, when I have wrought with you for My Name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 20:41-44)
Through Ezekiel GOD reminds the faithful remnant Jews that in His own time, He will gather the people of Judah back into the land which He promised, and they will worship Him in truth. A partial fulfillment began when GOD brought His people out of captivity and into Israel, rebuilding the city and the temple. The Jews were somewhat scattered and the nation overrun again when Rome came against Jerusalem. Now we see the beginnings of the final fulfilment of GOD's plan for Israel as it is once again a secular nation, but not yet a united people of GOD. That prophecy's fulfillment is still to come, when GOD is done with His Church, and turns His full attention back to the Children of Israel, but it will come to pass.
Until that time, in this parenthetical time we call the Church age, and the time of the Gentiles, the Church has the responsibility and command to take the Good News of the Gospel to every people, tongue, and nation. Until GOD is done with each of us who belong to Him, we are to disciple one another, and share His love, mercy and grace with those we meet that they might be saved from their sIn, and forgiven as we are. We are not to shorten, or misrepresent the Gospel as easy, or a bunch of rules, or just another way among many, but we are to speak the Truth in love and warn them that are without of the Judgment to come, and that the only way to GOD the Father is through Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary.
If you don't yet know Him, GOD wants you to know that He loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He is not willing that any should perish, but wants you to be born again and receive by faith in Him a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Believe in Him and surrender to Him on His terms for Salvation today.
