Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. In the Law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear Me, saith the Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship GOD, and report that GOD is in you of a truth. (1Co 14:20-25)
Regardless of which gifts He gives us, we are to use them for His glory and in His will to accomplish His purposes of building up His people and reaching the lost. Whether administration of the local assembly of His body, or faithful servant oversight of the resources He has given to His people to use for His work, or praise and worship of Him and conviction to those who hear and believe, all the gifts are good, whether permanent or not. All should be used as He wills, and at His direction, lest we grieve or quench the Spirit of GOD within us.
He works and wills in us to do His good pleasure, to conform us to the image of Christ. We disciple one another in the Word that we may grow thereby. We love one another as His disciples that all may know Him. We minister as His ambassadors to those who are hurting and in need as GOD guides and provides for the work of the ministry. As ministers of reconciliation we take the Gospel to this lost and dying world. As we go, we make disciples with the Good News of Jesus Christ that those who repent and receive Him by faith might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
