My son, forget not My law; but let thine heart keep My commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of GOD and man. (Pro 3:1-4)
As we continue our journey through the proverbs, we now see choices put before us. Be wise and live, or be foolish and wish we hadn't. True wisdom comes from GOD, and includes proper understanding of His Law as our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. For none of us can keep His law perfectly (and that is what He requires,) without Him and His grace, forgiveness, and Love.
His mercy extended to us through the cross; and His Word in our heart, and His Spirit within us empowers us, equips us, and encourages us to enjoy Jesus Christ.
While many in the world may hate us for our stand and our witness; we persevere because our GOD is greater than anything that can come against us.
I pray that you will find Peace with GOD, a lasting peace that comes only from our relationship with the Prince of Peace; Jesus Christ.
