eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Gen 2:15-17)And the LORD GOD took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD GOD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou
Adam (as we shall see later) failed in the command, and so his work got a lot harder to accomplish. Our work today can sometimes be hard, and our labors heavy, and we even make some of them harder than they have to be, but GOD is faithful and provides for our needs. His grace is sufficient, and we can accomplish all He wants us to do by His strength and mercy. Most of all, we can share what He has done for us, in Salvation, in discipleship, and in our relationship with Him because of what He did on the Cross of Calvary. That is the Good News we have to proclaim to every descendant of Adam, who because of Adam's sIn, are born guilty and separated from GOD and must be born again.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Trust Him and what He has already done on that cruel Roman cross for forgiveness of your sIn and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and receive Him by faith in His finished and perfect work for your Salvation.
In Christ,
