I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my GOD; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isaiah 61:10-11)
Our righteousness only comes from GOD and our relationship with Him. Our joy comes from what He has done for us. We, through His power and grace, have changed our filthy rags for His beautiful adornments of mercy and righteousness. What a great GOD we have. Our Creator, who created all things from nothing. Our Redeemer who has paid the death penalty we deserved because of our sIn. Our Saviour who lived a perfect life and gave Himself for me, and continues to form us in the image of Christ. Our King, who is still on the Throne of the Universe and nothing surprises Him, and is still in control of all things, and who will one day come back to this earth. Our Living Lord that is intimately involved with us and in us and we are complete in Him.
All those in Christ from every age, covenant, and dispensation will gather to our Saviour and praise His Name in the Millenial Kingdom and on into eternity. The marriage supper of the Lamb will occur, and we will all rejoice in GOD our Saviour. The friends of the Bridegroom will be there. The Bride of Christ, the Church will be there. And the Lord Jesus Christ will gather us all unto Himself.
In the meantime, we who know Jesus, the author of Scripture, the Living Word, have a responsibility and command to take His Word to this lost and dying world that they might live. That those who do not yet have a relationship by faith with the GOD of the Universe, may believe and repent. That those who are still dead in their sIn, may surrender to GOD on His terms and be born again. I urge you to turn from your sIn, and come to the knowledge of the truth. The truth that Jesus so loved you that He came to this earth as a man in your place and paid for your sIn. And that if you receive His free gift of salvation, He will give you an abundant and everlasting life. A life of discipleship and fellowship that is brand new and will never end.
This is the message that all GOD's people must share with those the meet.
